By Cleff Go To PostWe played well. First half especially was very good. Dominated possession, created a ton of chances and gave Palace no chance of creating.Palace were so shit in the first half that I'd be livid with a 0-0 tbh
Our next step is to convert these opportunities now. So frustrating to not win by a large margin. But the last few performances have been encouraging.
Played well 45mins.
Palace made a change and added a midfielder and United looked lost. Manager has no plan B, just let the game ride for the last 30mins.
Hopefully the managers gone soon. Team look happy with a point.

Game should have been killed off in the first half.
Definite signs of progression. But very annoying not to get all the points.
The drop off from the first half. The subs killed the game. Xerxes is 🔑

Game should have been done by half time.
By FortuneFaded Go To PostHaven't been this confident about our team playing well in a season in years, which probably means we will battle relegation.I called it.

went to get my eyes tested the other day. they actually improved by 0.25.
he did tell me, though, that now’s the time when my eyes will start getting weaker when it comes to reading things up close. ;_;

How many fingers am I holding up?
I think we're playing better than last season. Creating more clear cut chances and conceding fewer opportunities too. It's a work in progress and we should improve etc etc.
If this was Ten Hag's second season we'd see much more patience at least in the online fan base. But after last seasons disaster class he won't get as much leeway, nor should he.

By Killer7 Go To PostSpurs and Villa in the league next. Needs to be 2 winsDL
Not deflated like I was last season.
It was a much improved performance. That first half was pure domination. Xg7.8
We got thumped 4 Nil here last season.
Performances are moving in the right direction. It's the goals that worry me.
ETH has to do something against Spurs.

We’re playing like the Man U of last season. Absolute shit but getting decent results down to individual moments of quality, just like your season though…it isn’t sustainable.
Been really impressed by Zirkzee so far. He's excellent on the ball and creates chances through his first touch and passing. We look much better in attack when he's playing.
Really like the partnership Mazraoui and Amad are developing as well. They're both good in tight spaces and can find each other on the right wing when being pressed. It's notable that we're creating more and more opportunities from that side of the pitch.
Liverpool game aside, I think we've seen enough to suggest thar United are trending in the right direction even if progress is slower than we all want. That still isn't enough for Ten Hag to keep his job longer than the end of this season though. He needs results to come quickly.

By markao Go To PostThe difference between that first half performance from ManU and from 55/60 min in 2nd half is just staggering.
Every sub slowed the game down more. Precision passing went out of the window and no Zirkzee pivot did not help either.
Could easily have lost it with those chances for CP

All these are so bang on. Yes, to some degree what can Ten Hag do when the players are as wasteful as they are, or Henderson has a performance like today…
But Glasner saw Palace had no control, changed system at half-time, and Ten Hag countered that by… taking off his deep lying forward and committing even more to rushed inshallah football?
Bloke is crap. Get rid.
I've often thought in the past that ETH's game management is one of his better qualities but it was utter shite today. Filled the front line with runners with no controllers/playmakers left other than Bruno who was already having a bad game before that point. Also Garnacho already looked knackered and should've been the one to come off.
By sohois Go To PostSouthgate would have seen that game out for United.
For a 0-0 draw also?

It’s a shame, because he set the team up well. Initial selection was the right one; meant we controlled the game and looked after the ball and gave them very little opportunity to counter. Just terrible response to Palace’s changes.
Ooh baby we are alive again. After kicking our asses 3-0 in a six-pointer for the title race, LDU Quito got their asses kicked 4-0 and now drew 1-1. If we win tonight we are only 1 point behind them.
By Laboured Go To PostFor a 0-0 draw also?Yeah but he'd do it in a bit more style because he'd be wearing a waistcoat.
Football is dead. Anyway, average team today, let down by lack of strikers. Some quality with Emmanuel Petit and Thiago Silva.
