There was a bit of rotation due to a lot of players coming back late from their national teams and Kova being injured but we still did the job. All 3 of our attacking players scored, Trincão with a man of the match performance with 1 goal and 1 assist.
Now focus turned to the Champions League and the match against Lille, who lost tonight against Saint Etienne who were bottom of the table.

Ugarte has barely trained with his teammates and we couldn't start Casemiro after his disaster against Liverpool.
Rebuilding the squad is a multi year project and can't be sorted in one transfer window. But we really should have signed two midfielders.
I like the idea of Eriksen more than what we see on the pitch. He's generally good in possession and our Achilles heel has been losing the ball high up and not having enough cover to stop transitions. His inclusion should hopefully see fewer attacking moves break down. But his legs have gone and we'll be lucky to get a half from him.
