iâm hearing shaw actively lobbyed to have that info removed.
Honestly, spending rules and the pseudo-salary cap that La Liga has are fucking wack. Abolish them all. Let clubs succeed or fail based on their own merits instead of artificially propping them up. If they fail because of poor ownership, that's on the supporters for selling their club's soul and privatizing it. Implement the 50+1 rule to prevent state ownership and eliminate spending rules.
By Flutter Go To PostThey also wont be showing weight in the info anymore and some are livid about it...why? That's such a weird decision.
The no international management thing is truly bizarre too. Did they give any reasoning for it? I haven't done it in awhile tbh but I sometimes enjoy managing my club and an international team at the same time.

no fat shaming.
for the international football... i think they just cant do it in time for release tbh. switching engines and all.

But yeah, the switch to unity is gonna be growing pains. Reckon it will take them years just to get back at where the game was. Downside of their fucking minimal yearly updates model.
Weight is one of those things that make sense but also doesn't.
Like, when you get an academy player, they are assigned a height and a weight and it doesn't change for the length of their careers. Sure, it works together with stats like Strength or Agression or Jumping or Heading, which are more important, but it's still weird that it's not dynamic.
I want a player to get Luke Shaw levels fat so I can spend all summer on triple conditioning sessions. And I also want to be able to ban chips from the canteen.
Now THAT's immersion.

are they aware that weight is an important consideration to have, in a sports game
or are all players gonna be same weight regardless of height
or are all players gonna be same weight regardless of height
By inky Go To PostIt might still be on phil pass idkPretty sure it's confirmed to be on Game Pass at launch. The weirdest thing is they are taking the draft mode out just when they had the first FM World Cup finish with the top 4 playing a draft. The online community seems to be growing (Indonesia won the World Cup and apparently the online community there is huge) and there will be no draft at the start of FM 25.

"As you know, itâs been a long-term project for us and one of the biggest things we've done in recent times outside of the move to Unity. Throughout the process, weâve been laser-focused on introducing Womenâs Football to FM in the most authentic way possible. We've applied that thinking to everything we've done, as we generally do with all areas of design and development. From a gameplay perspective, being able to move seamlessly between managing menâs and womenâs clubs and vice-versa in one world, one ecosystem was the number one priority - but thatâs forced us to consider how various game world aspects are currently portrayed.
As such, we can now share a change weâve made to all FM25 player profiles: a playerâs weight will no longer be visible.
Through the creation of our Women's Football database, we discovered that while the weight of male athletes can change a bit month to month, womenâs body types are very different from menâs and their weight fluctuates a lot more, often weekly.
This perspective encouraged us to review the wider game, much like we have with all other areas, and weâve ultimately decided to no longer show weight for any players in FM25. A very basic measurement will still be included under the hood, but it wonât be visible on the front end anymore."
I see the Premier League have just given up now on enforcing the rules. Can't wait for them to turn up against City and just wave a white flag.

By Perfect Blue Go To Posthttps://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/41120574/chelsea-hotel-sale-cleared-premier-league-sourcesThis isn't particularly surprising as there is no rule preventing these kinds of transactions; the question was always going to be about fair value. In the case of the hotel nothing about it seemed outlandish for London property, but the sale of the women's team is likely to be far more contested on a fair value basis.
Incredible

I don't think most players even look at player weights since seemingly every footballers is around 150 lb/68 kg. It's just there on the player card.. but not having it feels very strange to me. I guess do women footballers not list their weights often or something? Framing it with respect to their inclusion just feels odd to me and maybe mildly sexist? I guess I wonder if they'll include pregnancies in the game since that would seemingly be the biggest cause of major weight fluctuation amongst them.
The removal is pretty irrelevant ultimately IMO (it's never played a role in my signing a player), but it just seems very strange. Thanks for sharing their official reasoning though, even if I find it bizarre.

Weâre going to come up on a period of 7 games in 3 weeks. The team that has been playing every game so far canât start them all if Slot wants to maintain a high fitness standard, as he is well-known for.
Darwin will surely start at least 2 or 3 of these games (Gakpo and Chiesa will have chances too).
