I've played this game called Soccer Manager for the last 11 years. It's a knock off Football Manager that is online-based and you play against other humans and the CPU. Pretty fun diversion. They just changed it so that you have to be a paid user to have a ton of basic features (including "unlimited transfers" and "stored tactics") so I think my time is probably up with it soon. Womp womp.
My Torino team I've managed for a few seasons is 1 point away from being promoted to Division 1 automatically (currently on top of the league, third place is 3 points behind) going into the final game of the season. Would be nice to go out with another trophy under my belt.

By Meier Go To PostSheesh.Angelo looks like the platonic ideal of Todd's strategy, just relying on transfer price inflation to push any half decent youngster up and up. But even with the sale to Saudi they probably only made around 6-7m in profit.
Also, that Angelo Gabriel guy played for a year at Strasbourg where he scored 0 goals and they somehow made a profit on him? Interesting.
By Dazenheimer Go To PostHappy for Angel Gomez. Not enough to spell his name correctly.
As a part of the Lo Celso deal, Spurs can sign Johnny Cardoso for £21m next year. Tidy player, could be a very good signing if he has another solid season this year. I like him a lot.

Spurs sold Giovani Lo Celso to Betis last week and Haro revealed that, during the talks, the Spanish club accepted an offer on Cardoso that can be triggered with a set fee of €25 million (£21 million).

By atticus Go To PostIf only you’d just spent 50 million Starmers on someone who plays in his same position.
Are we just gonna play kids or…?
Carsley is one of the better options I would have thought? Successful tenure as u21 manager, knows the younger players and can get immediate buy in from them.

We still need Casemiro if even just for squad depth. One injury to Mainoo or Ugarte and it's Collyer or Eriksen starting.

I've never even heard of six of them
Seven if it's a different Sergio Gomez from the one whose name rings a bell

Sporting has the youngest squad in the league with an average age of 23.37, oldest player is Esgaio with 31.
By Lego Go To PostMartins is thriving and I for one love itIt's so weird to see the club doing so well. We are the clear favourites to win the league, we managed to keep our best players despite huge interest from big clubs.
Hjulmand got asked by the danish press if he had talked Harder into signing for Sporting and he said that he is so happy at club that of course he is going to recommend players to go to Sporting and how proud he is to be captain of such a big club.
He had some doubts last summer about moving from the Serie A to Portugal but he is absolutely loving life here.
Squad is so young so they have still room to improve but the lack of experience might hurt us. I think that was obvious in the Super Cup defeat and I think the team will learn from that.
It's crazy that we are already doing so well but still have two expensive signings that have yet to play.
The vibes are great right now, can't wait for this international break to end and club football returns. Champions League could be fun this year.

Nice wrinkle, thanks Leicester. Keep chipping away.
