We didn't look comfortable after that goal was disallowed. Energy levels dipped and allowed Brighton back into the game.
Our high pressing in the first half created some good chances and we saw some intricate passing moves in midfield to create more.
Negatives are our finishing and final pass. Had a few opportunities to play a teammate through on goal, but the pass was behind the runner.
Also lost control in the second half once Mount went off. If one player is so integral to the press then that's a huge problem.

Maybe I won't have to read another week's worth of nonsense on how much better Man U are. The is improvement, but it is minimal
i will say though, Zirkzee and Mazaroui so far have looked good…

We’ve definitely been better than last year - much less chaos, much more control - but same issues of a lack of finishing touch, terrible at set pieces and an extremely open midfield remain.
2 weeks in a row of absolute shit it's not looking good for ETH
the increased control is an illusion we aren't doing shit and teams are comfortable against us

A winning Garnacho goal ruled out on the slimmest margin and a defeat at the last minute.
Nitzches eternal recurrence.

Fulham really should have punished you more than once, they had some amazing chances they fucked up themselves.
Tuff game. Played okay. Unlucky with the Garnacho chance. Paid at the end for a lack of focus, but I’m not watching through my fingers like I did every game last season.

the same game you saw we barely created anything we just had the ball alot
We were shit. Brighton were the better team overall and definitely the more dangerous looking. We had 2 counters in 90mins and that could have got us 2 goals but can't think of anything outside of that which the team offered. It's boring football too. He's stacking the midfield and got us set up to play counter-attacking football. It's just Ole 2.0. Shit ain't gna work.

Ten Hags biggest issue is that the shift in style has come a season too late. We can take a loss when developing a new style, but there just isn't as much patience after an awful second season.

Yeah, United are having more control but that won't change the fact that when they don't have the ball they still have clowns in the squad. Do not be fooled into thinking Maguire is a good player.
Brighton are going to cause problems for every team in the league, no doubt. They should be investing more into their defence though, which doesn't look very good on paper and in practise.

they were missing wieffer today. would've dominated the midfield and taken the pressure off their defence e z ily.

Have to remember they played Everton and United, pretty sure they'd make most teams look good

Closest we came to that style was ETH's first.

Too early to say that, I just mean with their attacking players and their options off the bench...they will create and score goals against anyone. But it does seem unbalanced to me, a top CB in there and man...they could do something
By Cleff Go To PostOur football is far different to Solksjaer's. Closest we came to that style was ETH's first.I don't see too much different. We hold the ball but don't really create much unless it's on the counter. Set up for the wingers to be the most attacking threat with a 9 that players a bit deeper.
He's fallen into something that worked vs City last season in the cup final and thinks that's what will work this season. Will be suprised if it does.
