Don’t sell.
We cannot seriously have our midfield options be
Mainoo (12)
Casemiro (basically dead)
Eriksen (literally dead)
Mount (lol)
Ugarte and one other then sure go for it

Harsh on Bruno. Throw in Collyer (Colin).
Thought Mount was pretty decent against Fulham. Was our best presser and was responsible for us winning possession high up the pitch a good number of times. Still have yet to see him produce on the ball, but that'll come in time I think.
What a night! Our girls beat Benfica in the Super Cup.
Going to watch Sporting U19 tomorrow morning as they play our local team.
Gyokeres influence is all over the club.

And for £25m? Yes, we should sell.
That would help us loads in the next window, if not this one.
Would be gr8 if we got a cheap, experienced name in though.
NOT AMRABAT
Dom is gonna have a great season. Playing in the advanced midfield role in this Liverpool team, 70+ minutes in every game, he’s gonna put up numbers.
By Xpike Go To Posti may not exaggerate when I say our entire season depends on winning vs Villa tomorrowIt's our acid kool-aid test.
gud TV fixtures today
Villa-Arsenal is one of those where if Arsenal win, it's so early in the season that it doesn't necessarily mean they'll be challenging for the title. But if they drop points it'd be a massive blow just because of the way City force you to be pretty much flawless. Think Arsenal have Man Utd and Spurs away as well in the next few games.

Again we are playing the same time as United. Last time, our match was a much better watch but I don't it'll be the case this time.
m8, we are on Sky Sports + at the same time.

But yes, it’s going to be impossible to win the league if we drop points this early on
By Plasma Go To PostDid you really think that Arsenal was ready to pay 100M€ for Gyokeres?
Fuck sake.
Didn't post much last night because I was on a family dinner.
We are playing at a ridiculous level. My cousin is an hardcore Benfica fan, was watching the match with me and said that anyone that loves football has to enjoy us playing.
It's ridiculous how many solutions we have offensively with two very offensive wingbacks, two incredible inside forwards in Pedro Gonçalves and Trincão, one of the best strikers in Europe in Gyokeres.
Tiki taka, long balls, crossing into the box, players capable of dribbling past defenders, we have all that.
14 goals scored and 2 conceded in 3 league matches, 2 of those away and without our best midfielder.
Gyokeres has 6 league goals already. I saw a lot of Benfica fans online saying that he would be sold this summer or that last season was a fluke and he wouldn't do as well this season.
The man was playing with an injury almost all of last season and it's still recovering from a knee operation, he hasn't reached it's final form yet.
It's is a wonderful time to be a Sporting fan. As I have seen someone say, the kids don't know how rough it was to be a Sporting fan. I am 38 years old and I have seen Sporting win the league 4 times, we were constantly trying to catch-up Benfica and Porto, now everyone is trying to catch us.
Ruben Amorim is a fucking legend, he is our Alex Ferguson. Yesterday was his 151th win, just ridiculous numbers in 4 and half seasons.
It was a massive gamble to sign him, I think his transfer fee is still the 3rd highest ever paid for a manager and we were pretty much broke at that time.
The club betted everything on him and we hit the jackpot.
We are now the team in better financial situation out ot the top 3, we have a very young squad (oldest player that played yesterday was 29, the 4 center backs that were used during the match were between 22 and 20 years old, a 17 year old is our starting right wind back) and still have at least 2 players coming in before the transfer window.
The only annoying thing is that today is Saturday which means that I have to wait a whole week to see us play again.

I enjoy posting my thoughts about Sporting and Portuguese football in general here.
Porto had one of the most surprising days of the transfer window yesterday.
Getting Fabio Vieira on loan was a huge win for them but getting Samu Omorodion was shocking.
It came out of nowhere, there was no rumblings, no leaks, nothing. It was just announced out of nowhere to the point that I thought someone had posted a fake link when I saw the news on Reddit.
That deal definitely means they are now deep in Jorge Mendes pocket, a fact even more confirmed by the news that Mendes has his team negotiating with Juventus for Francisco Conceição and very strange deal for David Carmo where Nottingham Forest bought the defender for 11M€ up front and and extra 4M€ in bonuses but it's going to immediately loan him to Olympiakos, where Carmo played last year and a team that has the same owner than Forest.
Porto are definitely making moves but I don't what it will cost them at end.
United are the early kickoff? Fuck, wanted to watch that but I am heading to an U19 match now, watching local club Lusitânia face Sporting.
