Not sure why Fab is wording it as a leg issue when it's literally in the bottom of your feet, but Plantar issues are really the worst because it can just flare up on you overnight while you're sleeping. It can feel like walking on glass in the arch of your foot into your heel.
I've been wearing inserts in most of my shoes for 20 years and still have issues pop up a few times a week. The Podiatrists all say the same thing too: rest; ice for inflammation; stretching...it's all just a huge inconvenience to a normal work day.
