I don't know this breda.
Never seen him play but so many people are convinced he's Varane reincarnated.

did you know that breda is a city in the netherlands?
I do think Real Madrid's "how about we pay a £0 transfer fee" strategy may have come a cropper here.
By Killer7 Go To PostStarted off enjoying it m8. Got to mid/late game and the enemy variety is really really bad. Can only fight so many trolls/goblins/harpies before getting bored. Also felt the game is too easy. The difficulty doesn't scale well into late game so you just rip through 99% of enemies.
I loved it. Enemy variety sucked but once the hooks of the Dragons Dogma gameplay loop got into me I couldn’t stop

By Laboured Go To PostI do think Real Madrid's "how about we pay a £0 transfer fee" strategy may have come a cropper here.I saw loads of Liverpool fans talking about Yoro saying "Why even bother, he'll just move to Madrid", as though Lille were a complete non-entity doomed to accept whatever Madrid did.
Yoro is just a kid; all Lille had to do was tell him he would spend a year on the sidelines if he didn't get them that 50m fee and it's not like moving a United, Liverpool, PSG is that hard to accept
By Oddinho Go To PostI loved it. Enemy variety sucked but once the hooks of the Dragons Dogma gameplay loop got into me I couldn’t stopI need to get back to it and finish, combat is still really enjoyable, but things just die so quick lol. Played Lies of P and that was a fantastic game. Mix of Sekiro and Bloodborne.
I'm very happy about Yoro but I suspect he's not ready to start 30+ games for us, not without some growing pains at least.
I'd like to see another CB brought in.

Do wonder if they will go for De ligt after a sale of Mag/Lindelof.
Would allow for some cover and also Martinez to play LB when needed or even CDM if needed.

Saw a compilation, was 90% lunged blocks and slide tackles.
Might as well play AWB at centreback. Lad will concede 7+ penalties this season.

Pipe down Shanks.
One Premier League scout — who, like all sources cited here, preferred to speak anonymously to protect relationships — is not surprised by the level of interest, despite the fact he has only played 41 times in Ligue 1 since his senior debut in 2022 aged 16.
“Every big club watching Yoro will be thinking the same thing: how can we create the pathway that gets the best out of him?” the scout says.
“He has an outstanding physical profile and can cover ground extremely well, but he’s also braver and more comfortable on the ball than he seems. He reminds me of a young Rio Ferdinand.”
The scout also makes an interesting point about visibility — both in the sense of what usually allows young centre-backs to stand out, and the virtues that make Yoro such a rare talent.
“He is a reactive centre-back and that’s quite rare at this age. The kids who tend to be given opportunities are usually the opposite: really aggressive, really pro-active. They’re introduced into their teams playing freer roles that require less positional know-how.
“Yoro isn’t like that. He is mobile and he does have some of those physical characteristics, but he doesn’t behave in that way. He’s an old man! He’s positionally sound. Really difficult to get past, with well-timed challenges and an understanding of how to defend zones. Really, he plays like a much, much older centre-back.

He’s a kid still, all the clubs were hoping to capitalize on his contract situation and land him for the future.
We definitely need another CB even if Yoro is signed. Martinez is the only senior player left who doesn't have question marks over his future here. Lindelof is up for for sale and we'd accept a bid for Maguire if it was reasonable. Evans must be strictly back up as well.
Central midfield is still the biggest concern. The Athletic say we've an interest in Ugarte, but that has been overstated in foreign media. Amrabat still being considered too. Which isn't great.

West Ham look to be signing Todibo too.
UEFA barring United/Nice inter club transfers might have benefitted us in the long run.

Bro has played in the champions league, is a goal scoring midfielder and has won more cups than Fulham have in the last 30 years.
£17 million is insulting. Put more respect on McSauce' name.

West Ham pushing for AWB at £15m and we want £20m+. Gosh I'm not sure I really understand what's happening here.
Liverpool Reddit’s transfer speculation thread has some choice reactions in response to Yoro going to United. I don’t necessarily disagree, as I’ve stated I’m gutted that United convinced him and we couldn’t, but the hysteria people show when we don’t sign literally every good player in Europe is worse than my 2 year old daughter who wails like she’ll never have another blueberry in her life when I tell her she’s had enough for the evening.

But yeah it’s just another player in the end of the day.
By Flutter Go To PostI don’t think the problem is that you didn’t convince him, but Liverpool thought he was Madrid bound.I would be shocked if Lille or Yoro's agent didn't contact someone at Liverpool (and probably PSG) to say United had a deal accepted.
But yeah it’s just another player in the end of the day.
Liverpool have made some expensive signings over the FSG years but I don’t think I’ve seen us pay that kind of cash for a teenager. Szoboszlai is young and cost a lot but 22 and 17 are very different.
By Laboured Go To PostBite their hands off. He’s as Fellaini as it gets.
Looking forward to seeing him in a team that uses him in an attacking position though.
How many years has it been since I got shit on by thinking he’s a good player.
Figured I’d post this in here since some of the old PC FIFA players may remember him from when we played the matches against one another (and just from GAF in general). TheVisualizer from our team/gaming crew took his life last week. He had been battling demons for awhile and finally decided that it was time. RIP, Steve.
