I think the easy way of concluding whether any of those behaviours are really an issue is asking yourself if they would still seem a problem had we won.

He wasn't up for it.
He strikes me as a lad who's so talented that adversity on a big stage is something he may not have had to handle.
People forget that he is only 20. And the massive responsibility put on him is telling. He comes with a lot of bravado but it's easy to see he's knackered and mentally drained.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThat’s a genuinely dreadful kit but a great ad for it.
That awful kit was actually real.
Still pisses me off Foden got such rope. Compared to almost everyone else in the side - Trent and Mainoo are the only other ones - he is as unlearned as they come when it comes to playing under any other manager. He’s never done it. He has only ever played under Pep.
And while Mainoo and TAA are likely to have, by virtue of the fact they’re at big clubs who typically dominate possession but have also been under managers who counter, Foden has never played a game of football in his career before last night where he had to chase and lose the possession battle.
All this shit about giving him a free role in this side… he has literally never played that before. He plays for the most positionally disciplined coach in world football.

If Southgate wanted to play defensive counter football, someone like Eze would have been better suited. But honestly it didnt seem like England even had a plan.
We are playing Roma at England's training ground. Okay...
We're definitely playing bigger teams this pre-season than last season. Maybe our FA Cup run boosted our international profile
Edit: Ignore the dates saying 2023 when it should say 2024. I've just corrected them on the wikipedia page.

Quite funny that for normal running long compression socks are popular (without holes) but maybe these will work there too 🤔

Isn’t kinda the same said about Bellingham in dortmund? Think that’s just his personality. Dude seems the type that is hyper focused on winning, and expects the same from his teammates.

By DiPro Go To Posthow big is the Copa in terms of viewership and status? comparable to the Euros or even bigger? like are argentinians celebrating as much as the spaniards today?Winning Copa América means as much to us as winning Euros means to you. Only Brazil in the 2000s turned their nose to it but they took it serious again when they started hosting stuff in the 2010s.
They didn't tell us shit in the stadium about the fuckery that unfolded outside. They only told us "game has been delayed due to security reasons". I only found out cause I was texting my friends and family during the delay. The Uruguay vs Panama game taught me to show up to The Final as early as possible and to buy prepaid parking. Prepaid parking is absolutely worth it. It costs the same as paying on site and you avoid 1 hour of waiting in traffic and walking. At Hard Rock Stadium, prepaid parking is cleverly built leading from the expressway exit so you're in and out very quickly you don't do a line of more than 5 minutes. It's why I was able to get in early and quickly before the madness unfolded outside.

I realise it's early pre-season and Rosenborg are mid-season (even though they are not a good football team), but a lot of the funadmentals (and outcomes) sure are looking eerily familiar. It's not doing much to assuage my fears for the coming season. Would be nice to see basic performances improve from here eh ETH?
I think y'all need to touch some grass.
We may get better. We may not. But we won't know after one pre-season game where three quarters of our squad are in holiday.

By Willkiller Go To PostThe worst pain is realizing there’s still a month until club footballThree days for me! CONMEBOL copied the pre-Swiss Model CL and Europa format for Copa Libertadores and Sudamericana. We were third place in our Libertadores group so we're doing a mid-week Sudamericana round of 16 playoff against a second place Sudamericana team. Tbh I only slightly care about Sudamericana if we're in it, and zero care if we're not, but I'll take any official club football I can get right now. Time to put these international tournaments behind us.
Any word yet on whether Uruguayan players can be banned from all football, or just international football?
