I like the look of Collyer. Decent range of passing for a DM and covers ground very quickly. Definitely more athletic than Casemiro at this stage of his career.
Would like to see him play on the tour of America and get some time in cup competitions.

Hopefully, not a trial by fire style that Garna and Kobe.
Collyer essentially looks like the kind of player United has tried shoehorning McTom into for 7 years
By barber Go To PostTbf to Ten Hag, he's very willing to trust in younger players if he thinks you're ready. Garnacho and Mainoo are first team regulars and they're both still teenagers.
better not be an empty gesture
Amad has had a more roundabout route to the first team when you consider he missed about 4 months of the season through injury. But the time he returned, United were struggling a lot in the pitch and everyone was at panic stations. Not the most conducive for throwing in a younger player. But I think from like March to May he appeared more regularly and was playing well. He'll get his chance this season I hope.

It’s nice that there’s already a highlight compilation of Yoro when all he did was a decent job today.
By Plasma Go To PostGuess Kiwior is gone then and maybe Zinchenko. We’ll be fine with Tomi and Timber. Zinny has largely been found out.
Clearly we're winning the league.

Feels like this will be the season that Mikel really has no excuses. He’s getting rid of youth that have been great but have also reached their limits in with the raised expectations. He’s filled every position with players he’s brought in sans Saka.
Really need someone to compete with Saka and Marti. I fear that Martinelli might have another mid season.
Bring me Nico Scummo.

Look, I understand that people who have suffered from racism might not like it, but I think if any in Slaent feel offended, the way is to DM him, not post it in the football thread
I see a lot of meming here over racists, but have any of you ever stopped to consider the racists feelings

I've been thinking of how many football managers wear glasses since it seems very small compared to the general population. For example, I don't think any of the current PL managers wear glasses. I've tried to come up with a list but there doesn't seem to be any extensive list online. This is what I have so far (and even then, a few of them only wear them on an occasional basis)
Alex Ferguson
Arsene Wenger
Claudio Ranieri
Fabio Capello
Graham Taylor
Jupp Derwall
Jurgen Klopp
Marcello Lippi
Mario Zagallo
Martin O'Neill
Nigel Pearson
Rafa Benitez
Sven-Goran Eriksson
I looked up a 100 greatest football managers list and all the pictures were almost exclusively of old guys not wearing glasses. Can anyone think of any more?
