De Ligt would be a great signing, I think. Probably isn't the dominant defender he was expected to become when still at Ajax. But he's still really good. We'll still need another CB with pace though. Which is why we're still after Branthwaite I suppose.

De Ligt never lived up to the potential but he's still obviously a solid player. Would be worth a shot, especially if the fee is around what Horse said. Hard to get a firmly established international for less than that.
