Spurs realizing they need to bring in people to teach Wemby to become an asshole is the best thing they could do for his development.
Fischer has had a terrible hit rate the last few days, it genuinely feels like he's just making stuff up.
If Reed is good his first year, the only Rockets with a time decay RAPM below -0.5 on the whole roster will be AJ Griffin (who was pretty close to -0.5), Jalen Green, Jeff Green, and Jabari Smith Jr. They just love signing players whose RAPM is way better than their box score stats... but it's really handicapping them that two of their three worst players last year were also top three in minutes. Maybe it's how they're trying to navigate win now vs. player development, but one of the reasons I wasn't super hyped for Reed to go to Houston is that it'll be tough for him to get minutes on this roster.
Trying to make sense of the Clippers rotation for next season. Wonder if there's a plan to move PJ Tucker? Also is there any kind of plan to give Bones playing time this season? Are they just gonna use a bunch of SF at PF? I assume the backup C is gonna be someone super cheap at this point.

Chip aspirations are done.

They have a first in 2025! Gotta root against Houston for it to be any good. It was obvious in the playoffs that this is no longer a championship roster, and they were too limited in what they could do this off season to get to that point. The goals of the offseason were obviously get under the first apron but don't crater the roster.
I think one thing they have to do to have a "successful" season is give Bones or KPJ enough run to see if either is at least a starter level player as they're obviously limited in how to add young talent to this roster for quite awhile.
Steve balmer is a clown but imagine a billionaire with deep pockets owning Lakers? At this point Lakers virtually a small market team.

You've got some nice pieces.

Boston’s owner is playing some 4D chess. Winning title and maybe another one. Agreeing to a massive payroll and then ducking before the big taxes comes in so the next guy has to be the bad guy.

Jaylen is going home to Atlanta by 2027/28 anyway
Porzingus is going with him too and they’ll bring home Atlanta’s first championship since 1958
Then Tatum goes to LA after LeBron and AD leave
Horford retires
So it’ll just be final years Jrue and Derrick White on the Celtics
Then it’s back to the washedton and SHOOKtics life 😎

By reilo Go To PostJonathon Majors gonna get a training camp inviteEvery time they sign a sex criminal or domestic abuser they get together in a big room in the new Clippers facility and jerk each other off to that one scene from Moneyball. They don't even care whether the player's good or not, they just love the idea that they're exploiting a "market inefficiency."
