Finally, someone hears me
LeBron's son scores 0 points in second preseason game, building upon the 2 points scored in the first preseason game. From this point forward, ESPN has decided to hunker down further on Laker Land LeBronapalooza because "we have no chill, this is all we got, it's the Lakers or the SAS Knicks, why the hell are there 28 other teams? And Silver is talking about expanding? The fuck? There's 2 cities, NBA, and both are shit at basketball, and you need to fix it. Get it through your fucking heads."
Hm um, sources say.
Okay starting to hear Ace Bailey hype from people I actually respect... basically calling him short KD. This draft might actually be loaded.

Athletic started in part because layoffs at ESPN. Now ESPN is poaching the Athletic.
But ESPN is still laying off folks, so at least that hasn't changed. Folks need to be able to rely upon something.

Tim Kawakami left for the SF Standard which is some online newspaper founded by some Sequoia Capital goon.
The reason I liked The Athletic was that they had beat writers for almost every team. Now it's just league wide stories with a few big teams getting covered. If I wasn't paying 99c a month for it I'd have cancelled long ago.
Shame there's no singular space doing quality NBA coverage.
Yeah I had a sub but dropped it when they had their big layoffs only reason I have access now is cause my wife subscribes to NYT for crossword puzzles
I guess that I'm lucky the Pels have a hometown guy covering the squad for the Athletic and they have another hometown guy who left ESPN to join the team's new broadcaster's crew. There is also a guy from... Colorado? that started working for a local paper a few years ago and has been one of the best actual journalists covering the team in my memory.
DY is the new beat writer for the Hornets and I have to say it's working out well.
Also covers the Panthers.

Zion looked good today. He didn't look slow or out of shape and had several great finishes against the Magic starters and Isaac.
Beal will lead the Suns to the chip
He already said he and the Wizards would’ve beat the Cavs back in 2017, even though they couldn’t beat game 7 Olynyk and the Celtics

That Pistons team is the worst constructed team I seen in a minute. A bunch of bigs that can't shoot, and a bunch of guards and wings that can't shoot.

I put that game on my laptop once the Lynx went up 20. They are great defensively and move the ball well, gonna be a well earned ring for the Liberty.

I don't want to say it but he's giving off Greek Nigerian vibes.

I can't even call what garland does over dribbling. Dude has to be reminded that he's in an organized basketball game.
I still don't understand how he got a pass for this last playoff run

i didnt watch a lot of the Cavs last year in the regular season but seeing Garland in the playoffs i thought he was high out of his mind the way he was playing

If Garland is finally gonna stop overdribbling…
Unfortunately I felt this way watching the Blazers way too much last year too. If you can't shoot, at least get your ass up the court. And of course they're talking about it again here in preseason and I just... will believe it when I see it, I guess.
Gonna be weird watching this team with what appears to be a pretty damn good squad but with less than zero star players.
I'm just happy Zion is not starting this season behind the 8-ball. Hopefully he can hold up, Trey comes back sooner than later, and Ingram gets his head out his ass and actually does what the coaches and other players keep begging him to do.
6th seed, here we come!

Sounds about right, hopefully somebody figures out a BI trade that nets a decent center or two because it's a deep team that's (broadly) very fun to watch.
By Koko Go To Post Knew LeBron was an advocate for public transportation.Because the Lakers scheduled it themselves that way. Go ask your GM.
