Everyone is hyper negative and bickering with each other all the time. It's especially bad when the team is rebuilding and there's zero rationality left. Not saying you need to be an unabashed cheerleader or anything but people really lose the plot.

Do car manufacturers produce mostly nothing but SUVs because consumers want that or because the car manufacturers manipulated the car market in such a way that they could sell these giant good-for-nothing things at the highest margins and convinced customers that's what they wanted? "If I'd asked customers what they wanted, they would have told me, 'A faster horse!'"
I feel like if ESPN/NBA wanted to have a different style of coverage they could and they could convince NBA fans to tune in at the same rate.
Because, again, look at literally every other sport including the biggest one in the country with how they cover the NFL.

In theory ESPN should be somewhat invested in the overall success of the sport they've put this much money into, but I guess not.
