Salute to Anderson. This definitely cements that Finch will be forced to play Dillingham and either Leonard Miller or Josh Minnot, though, and he's been pretty averse to playing younger players.

They gotta hope one of these guys hits to prepare for Naz opting out and life without him after next season.
By blackace Go To PostKAT is making 55 mil next year? 😮$49m next season and $53 in 25-26, but the word has been Rudy is going to decline his option for 25-26 and sign an extension at a lesser number to make the cap math easier for them.

Tyus Jones still out there is they want the whole set from the Grizzlies 21-22 bench lineup.
hopefully this means the end to tiny lineups off the bench

Clippers putting together all-felon first teamers, putting these dumbass dudes together on one team in LA? At least 2 of them will join a gang out there.

Man couldn't last a day with Draymond
Feels kind of unfair to group them like this, Kennard is in a completely different class as a shooter from the other three (who aren't consistently above 40%).
By Sharp Go To Postisnt Buddy exactly a 40% shooter for his career?

By blackace Go To Postisnt Buddy exactly a 40% shooter for his career?Yeah but only 3/8 seasons are actually above 40%. If most of your value is coming from shooting and more than half the time you are only a little above average, that's not worth that much. Whereas with Kennard you're basically guaranteed an awesome shooting season every year. 44% vs 40% career shooting is a really big difference (Hield's best season is worse than Kennard's average season). And Kennard is also four years younger.

None of them can defend or put pressure on the rim, and Kennard is sneaky injury prone
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostNone of them can defend or put pressure on the rim, and Kennard is sneaky injury proneBasically. Luke and Buddy have zero other NBA level basketball skills, I think it's perfectly fair to compare them. 🤷🏾♂️
By blackace Go To PostBasically. Luke and Buddy have zero other NBA level basketball skills, I think it's perfectly fair to compare them. 🤷🏾♂️I'm not saying you can't compare them, just that when you compare them Kennard is a ton better at that skill and that should give him meaningfully better value if teams are being objective about it. Like don't just lump them into the "elite shooter with no other skills" bucket and call it a day.
(That said, I didn't realize how injured Luke had been the last couple of years... that probably has way more to do with him not getting much interest than people thinking he's the same as Hield).

But regardless their skills and faults are close enough to think they will directly affect each other's markets
If buddy isn't actively shooting a 3, he's a legit bad player. Luke and Trent at least can be trusted with a read or two while holding the ball...
Just reductive tweet takes tbh because the only reason Hield is seen as a better player than Anthony Morrow is draft position and volume.

By blackace Go To Postalso inflates his percentages.Come on dude Kennard's taken 1800 threes, he's just better lol. Playing fewer games just makes his % vary more around his average between seasons.
And yeah Dy I agree that Luke is also better at other stuff but that wasn't really my point. More that how good a shooter you are should matter. If someone could guarantee you 60% from three every single night for 82 games on eight threes a night while playing even Kennard level defense, that is one of the most valuable offensive players in the entire league (maybe the most valuable)... Kennard isn't that, but he's a lot closer to being that than Hield is.
(Okay I actually calculated and that hypothetical player isn't actually the most valuable offensive player in the league if he does nothing but shoot threes and has zero gravity, but he's still like PG13 level on offense which is pretty impressive).
just bought tickets to summer league on july 18th.
i think you'll be able to see us from the stands in the lower level.
my question is how big of a slaent.com logo banner should i make?

Fair too. Just don't think you can bundle shooters as just a player archetype *or* as just shooters.
