hell yeah, legend
if it hadn’t been for the injuries and arsenal barely winning anything in his best years, he’d be considered one of the very best to ever do it. feels like rvp doesn’t get the credit he deserves, i think, but i could be wrong.
i’d put him in the top three with r9 imho
By Oddinho Go To PostSuarez > RVP
Aguero too, really, if we're being honest.
Ability no, and saurez was magical but rvp would have been henry. In terms of what they actually produced then yeah saurez had more moments as he rvp only really had two seasons, truly injury free. Same thing for Aguero but saurez had more magic.
Charlton volley is stupid, pretty much seen all those other volleys happen on pitches of various standards. Ive never seen someone volley mid air

If we're just talking about PL then sure, RVP > Suarez because of the longevity. As footballers though, and in terms of overall career Suarez is way clear of RVP
By Oddinho Go To PostSuarez > RVPYeah without a doubt

Cunt spent years in our medical center, when he became good and gave us 1,5 world class seasons, he left us for fucking United. Fuck him.
By bud Go To Postas footballers suarez is way clear of rvp? how?Suarez was absolutely magic, one of the greatest players of the generation. Van Persie was an excellent striker.
Van Persie career goals (including international): 324
Suarez career assists (including international): 297
That's just stats though ofc. When Suarez was at the peak of his game, he was unbelievable to watch.

Only 24 footballers in the history of the sport have scored 500 goals. Suarez is amongst the best of the best in terms of goalscorers.
i wasn’t talking about goals, though. i mean, it’s clear that suarez has scored way more goals than rvp.
as a footballer, though, meaning everything outside of scoring goals, there aren’t many who are on the same level as rvp.
not suarez.
not aguero.
technically, as a footballer, rvp easily better.

Well I did just point out that Suarez nearly has as many assists as RVP does goals...
Yeah RVP was great but injuries and more notably, his falloff after Fergie left means Suarez is higher on my ranking compared to him.
Don't forget the work rate and grinta. This is why Rooney and Suarez are both in my all time Premier League XI (designed as a team to actually win a game, rather than just picking the best players).
When you have all the technique in the world but still choose to work that hard 👏

Gotta respect iron will. Don’t know if Ronaldo would have been quite so good if he didn’t have Messi to spur him on.

Legit one of the most overrated goals of all fucking time. What the FUCK Perez was doing that far out lmao. Idiot. Absolutely fucking hate that poncy cunt.
As for good PL volleys, Tettey's against us was unreal. Match of the Day gave goal of the day to Rooney from the half-way line... absolute robbery. Tettey's goal was 10x more skilful.
Not that I'm complaining, but I don't understand why Chelsea would want Maresca over Robins (who would probably be cheaper). What has he actually done? Failed at Parma and then took the best squad in the Championship to the title, almost fucking that up at the end too. Is Boehly just hoping that he's going to bring Pep's peds with him?

If his name was Mary S(usan) Carr he’d have no hope. This country has gone to the dogs.
