But he’s only ever really had one extended period where his finishing was to a high standard.
I like aspects of his game, and we do lack a target man. But it’s going to be a clear downgrade from Wilson in terms of output. If we make that up with a good RW signing then…fine.

I would imagine DCL to Newcastle now means Manchester club looks at different CB targets. No need for Everton to sell Branthwaite if they're raising money from other sales.
Same because I really liked the look of him. We're desperate for a fast CB. We keep talking about best practice and having a system in place that allows for us to move on quickly to the next target in line. Need to see this in practice.

DCL has been a long term target for us (for some reason), Wilson will be sold mostly for PSR reasons but it also feels like a good time to move him on anyway with his injury issues. You'll see a decent amount of business from clubs with PSR concerns before the start of July for obvious reasons.

The vast majority of games in this Euros have been very entertaining. The worst games have included the big boys (England/France/Netherlands).
So yeah, I am looking forward to it. Georgia's first game was arguably the game of the tournament so far.

So yeah, I am looking forward to it. Georgia's first game was arguably the game of the tournament so far.
Strictly following the rulebook (as we should really) the goal should have been disallowed yesterday. My main gripe is that it just doesn't happen consistently. Wouldn't even be surprised if we'd have a similar situation in the same tournament where the goal will stand.
The match itself was probably rather boring for those not invested in either country. I think NL performed decent given the current squad. Don't really get the fierce criticism from the lads in the studio. We played a team that is very likely to be among the top 3 squads in the tournament and we never really looked out of place. Unable to really make an impact forward most of the game. Some narrow escapes in the back but it's been solid for most of the game. All in all a good result to have 4 points out of the first two games. Should be enough to go through.
