By Flutter Go To PostWhat a joke of a club. They won the league 6 times in the past 7 years and last year they won everything. What a fucking horrible club.
By Dan Go To PostI trust City.City could murder a pack of puppies in front of a group of kids and you would say it was for their own good.
They won’t have done this lightly.

Not true.
I’ve always said if we’ve done wrong we deserve to be punished.
I just disagree with the punishments those who have their heads in the clouds seem to think we’ll get.
Aka relegation, stripped titles etc.
By LFMartins86 Go To PostThey won the league 6 times in the past 7 years and last year they won everything. What a fucking horrible club. It's very much not about that. It's about them successfully arguing against established PL rules, creating a precedent in their favour they can re-use when they have their big 115 charges hearing.
It's a hail mary to discredit the PL ahead of all that.
It's also the clearest indication we have of their guilt
its also to drown out the PL in legal costs so they consider backing off since City have unlimited money and can pay whoever for infinite amounts of time
By Laboured Go To PostOoohhhhhh this bit is so so so so so so so so much worse.Worse than what? That's the whole point of their claim, they're trying to get rid of the rules around related party commercial deals
By Willkiller Go To Post"But within an 165-page legal document City argue that they are the victims of “discrimination”, describing rules they say have been approved by their rivals to stifle their success on the pitch as a “tyranny of the majority”."Quoted for horse
"City argue that sponsors linked to club owners - City's are in Abu Dhabi - should be allowed to determine how much they want to pay, regardless of independent valuation. Four of City's top ten sponsors have ties to the United Arab Emirates, including stadium and shirt sponsor Etihad Airways"
💀
I was on t' train so was randomly fixated on the bit Flutter posted. I mean, there's sometimes stuff you don't fully put in a claim because the document goes public and the optics are too horrible. But apparently not for City.

"Tyranny of the majority". Just remarkable. See that really is the kind of word play you only get from £3,000 per hour lawyers.

Good job we can afford it.

John Stuart Mill in fairness.
This is smart. Think United should go around saying they'll only sign a player they want on favourable conditions from now on.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostDan and Meier are both really nice but go on and support an evil club 😔Well, that's the thing, they don't just "support the club", they actively run interference for a criminal enterprise and slave state like fucking weirdos instead of just focusing on the football teams. It's fucking hilarious.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostDan and Meier are both really nice but go on and support an evil club 😔Don't you support a club that was run by a Russian oligarch?

sounds about right (Wilders) ;)
By FortuneFaded Go To PostDon't you support a club that was run by a Russian oligarch?and? American oligarchs and vulture capitalists own like half of football at this point. Abramovich all things considered was a pretty good owner and didn’t try to destroy the English game like certain others.
Give me him over the current group of jokers running Chelsea any day ez
By Crusher Go To PostJust support the club instead of the ownership how is that hard?I don't think you can really separate them with Man City tbh, they've shaped every aspect of it
Watching Hungry - Ireland because I'm too lazy to put anything on.
Playing in a half full Aviva, Ireland's shirt is ugly (castore), dreadful football.

I mean I spent what...13 years under Ashley? I've got very good at supporting the team, not the regime. It's really not hard, you gain nothing by blindly supporting the owners...so why do it?
By Dan Go To PostI trust City.Your club is run by absolute cunts, how can you not see that.
They won’t have done this lightly.
