Whatever they decide, better do it fucking soon so we can start thinking about some fucking players.
By KimoSan Go To PostThere have been pieces written since last night about how Ineos are still thinking something over.Meant 3sixty
Think Brighton is best move for McKenna. If he does well I'm sure there'll be big clubs still going for him after next season.
For United I think from all the interviews/rumours pre/post match it seemed likely ETH would be gone. I do wonder if that result changed anything but I doubt it. If you're talking to other manager options so openly as being reported and not backing him after yesterday then he's probably gone.
As a replacement out of Tuchel, Poch and De Zerbi I think Tuchel seems most likely. I would much prefer Poch out of the 3 though.

By Lego Go To PostI have a good feeling about Poch.So did Chelsea.
By Dr3up Go To PostSo did Chelsea.
Did well at Chelsea. Left because he obviously doesn’t get on with how the club is run. Made sense for both of them to do that.
By Dr3up Go To PostSo did Chelsea. He was only there a year and they were the 4th best team in the league in 2024. And their squad is genuinely shit compared to United's.
My bigger concern with Poch is that it seems like he's letting himself go.
Is this the mindset Manchester Club needs to return to glory?

Here’s what I think would happen if everyone is thinking with their heads:
Man United and Chelsea recognise the risk factor behind hiring McKenna and/or Maresca, and Ipswich and Leicester get to enjoy the fruits of their labours and keep their coaches for another year.
Chelsea look at De Zerbi’s style of play and coaching of youth, recognise his biggest concern with Brighton was transfers, and hire him.
Man United do a deep dive and either realise Ten Hag is as much the reason for this season’s flaws as anything else and fire him for Pochettino - coming off a relatively reputation boosting season where their underlying numbers were actually very good - if he is willing to work under INEOS’ structure, or they stick with Ten Hag because of the injury crisis and give him some more time (while reviewing whether said injury crisis was his fault - and whether he is completely incapable of coaching players to play his football if Martinez is injured. I saw Bielsa turn Luke Ayling into a god, Erik. Don’t tell me you can’t do it too.)
Brighton, having failed to hire McKenna, return to the Potter well, who was prematurely lost to Chelsea and then prematurely sacked. If they DO hire McKenna, then Potter goes to Ipswich (or Leicester if Chelsea for some reason hire Maresca).

Wouldn’t say SHIT like, but I think we do have a better side in most aspects. Their goalkeepers and centre backs in particular are not very good.
Would take Caicedo, Palmer, Jackson and Gusto. Reece James is dead so forget about him.
By inky Go To Postfucking Amierdica againBut enough about the Premier League
dead, corrupt league

Why are we being linked with Trashford?

Who from Chelsea’s squad would get in United’s first XI?
Can’t think of more than 2 or 3.

Decent but need to see more of him. Shunted to LB for a 40 year old when he was fit, most I saw.
Chelsea have a lot of great young players who you'd take off potential alone or players like Nkunku who's supposed to be a baller but for injuries and whatever other reasons hasn't shown much quality.
I'd take United's keeper, defence and forwards and steal a couple youngsters from their midfield.
But that's okay, I'm sure Chelsea fans feel the same about some of United's players.

Onana, Martinez, Shaw, Bruno and Garnacho for me.
Mount and AWB need a formation that plays to their strengths and I don't think that's happened under ETH.

Though it's difficult to tell with both teams such a mess and so many injured lads.
Maresca please. I dont even know shit about how he is as a manager. But I do with Thomas Frank. The freak got two first names.
Can't imagine a least attractive crest for your football club than a fucking well.
Is a well really the most notorious landmark in Copenhagen m9?

Ehm.. No. Cause Brøndby is very much not in Copenhagen.
Out there it probably is.
Also Brønd = Well. By = Town. What a name.
