As far as I can see, United did not actually overshoot their xG figures, and perhaps slightly undershot.
They massively overperformed in terms of xGA, going around 15 under, but if you look at Onana's post shot figures he was only responsible for around 2 of that 15.

Rashford is out. While I think that is entirely fair on form, he's also got an injury that can't be worked on until the off-season anyway so probably a good thing he doesn't go.
