I find it very strange that De Zerbi is leaving by mutual agreement to take another job (presumably) when he had a huge release clause.
No German Super Cup for Bayern next season. #PoorKane

They knew where this was heading.
So far, the managerial merry go round for this summer involves Napoli, Bayern, Brighton, Barca, Milan and Juve.

By Oddinho Go To PostI wonder who Brighton go for next. Their recent history suggests it will be a smart appointment.

God some of those moments. I hope the Slot era has memories like these in store. We’ve been spoiled.
It was the first of two occasions when Liverpool missed out on the title by a point to a club later charged with 115 breaches of Premier League regulations.😤
Brighton is an attractive position if they can retain the assets that they have. Maybe they lose Mitoma or someone offers a bag for Ferguson, but they have players and should add something in midfield.
Last minute penalty for Boavista to save them from the relegation playoff. Can they do it?
Yes, they can. What a crazy match. Game finished right after the penalty.
Boavista and Portimonense finish with 32 points but Boavista have the advantage on H2H.
Portimonense will now play a two legged playoff against the third placed team in the second division for the right to play in the Primeira Liga next season.

Beautiful send off to Neto. His contributions on the pitch were limited but everyone knows he was a massive presence on the locker room and helped reshape the mentality of the club.
Ahahah. Gyokeres is angry at the ref for not giving more extra time, he really wanted that 30 league goals.
That's the league done. Cup final next weekend.

Where is the world isCarmenRoberto De Zerbi
Oh lord
This was a lovely goodbye to two very important pieces of this new era of Sporting.
It helps that we won the league but I can't remember us doing this kind of thing in the past.
We are getting so much better as a club. To think that 6 years ago we hit our lowest point and now the club is healthier than ever.

By Laboured Go To Post:lolI think Schmidt is trying to get fired. He will get around 20M€ if he is fired right now.
It's hard to see how he can continue at Benfica, he almost got in a fight with the fans last night.
First team to score in all league matches in a 34 games league season, first team to win all home matches in the league since that Mourinho Porto team that won the Champions League in 04/05, 29 wins in 34 league matches, 90 points (only 1 point behind Porto's record), 10 point advantage over the second place, 96 goals scored.
Not gonna lie, I would have preferred Amorim to Slot
95% of that is because of their looks, but still

What a man. I potentially may ball like a child tomorrow. But the respect I have for Jürgen means I came to accept his departure pretty immediately. Hope he can chill out and enjoy life
By Punished Go To PostHaven't really been effected by any of the videos around him leaving until now. For all the silverware we've missed out on by a hair's breadth and the way this season has fallen apart, the only disappointment that really lingers is the nature of the way we won the league under him. Wonder how often a manager (potentially) retires having managed for decades and with every club being devastated to see him go.

There goes Jurgen Klopp, I must remember to thank him.

This is the most Hitch take ever, to find something to regret about winning the fucking premier league 😂
Everything that happened in an empty stadium was shit
It was too big an occasion for every memory of it to be tainted by covid, and every really positive recollection I have of that season is the road to winning before the hiatus and lockdown rather than the run-in and celebration. Wish I could think of it the same way I do normal trophy wins, but I don't. I'm not one of those idiots who thinks it's less of an achievement because of the circumstances, but I can't pretend that it fully scratched the itch personally.
It's why I was so desperate to win the league this season after Klopp announced his departure. More than leaving on a bright note, I wanted him to be able to celebrate a title win with the fans and a parade.
Didn't help that I'd had some news in November 2019 that had put me in either a state of depression or something close to it for a number of months, along with the general morose around covid ¬¬
