By Freewheelin Go To PostUtd’s GD is still hilarious to meI'm kinda desperate for them to finish on negative GD
By NiceGuy Go To PostI'm kinda desperate for them to finish on negative GDthat's pretty much guaranteed at this point
I thought we'd finish 10th too, but we got lucky I guess
By KimoSan Go To PostSweet hit from Lewis Hall. He could do that more often if he can break into their midfield. He’s not getting into the midfield, but he’s been good since he finally broke into the 1st team. He’s going to be great next season. Got LB locked down
Based on the match ups Sunday, I think the 1-10 are set as they stand.
By Willkiller Go To PostHe’s not getting into the midfield, but he’s been good since he finally broke into the 1st team. He’s going to be great next season. Got LB locked downAs long as he's happy, I think he'll perform for you. He's an emotional player and just being out there is all he cares about. So if he can stay involved I bet he'll continue to develop defensively. His ball control and ability to move things forward are is best attributes though.
Most important thropy goes in to final day, the battle of the Above
Like Ars game, having Amra defending forward in midfield helps you with an OK press. Nice to see Amad score, has the ability not always the confidence in EP yet, he had in Sunderland.
Newcastle should have done more with the big chances they got tonight.
Mainoo controlling long kick from Onana under full pressure in sprint easy on chest and first touch, so easy lad worth season ticket.
Oh and Bruno was on it today

Another relatively good performance. We were patient in possession, probing the defence with short passes and didn't overcommit when transitioning in attack. Still look shaky out of possession, but we weren't as calamitously open as we have been. Similarish to the Arsenal game.
Amrabat was competent enough as a DM tonight. Played his part in a lowish block, breaking up play and making smart passes to the better footballers in the side. And when we wanted to press he held his position well in case we failed to win the ball back. Still doesn't have the legs to be a great PL midfielder, but has performed well enough recently to make me wonder why Ten Hag has insisted on playing his transition based high press, low block tactics for most of the season. He played to the strengths of the players available and we actually responded with an ok performance.
We've looked better in the last two fixtures than at most stages this season. Ten Hag is clearly a competent coach, but his stubbornness with sticking to his system has cost us points and maybe cost him his job.

By KimoSan Go To PostHow are we 6th? How could anyone gamble real money on this sport? Incredible league.Need to see the table since Christmas. Think we are surely top 3 since the .
I don't know if Amad has a long term future at United, but he's genuinely so much better than what we've seen from Antony in about 18 months. Better dribbler and seems to have a far better passing range.
FWIW I think Ten Hag knows that as well. He dumped Antony out of the side and switched Garnacho to the right ahead of him. Only brought him back after Rashford got injured.

Reece probably one of the most talented English players, and also an absolute case. Less durable than wooden's underwear to boot.
I guess we'll see how serious Ratcliffe is in the summer, there's players that need to go that you will get next to nothing for and also have to cover 2/3rds of their wages for the rest of their contracts.

By Dr3up Go To PostPoch in?I don't see any way he isn't in charge come July when they travel for the US tour. He and his people would have to walk on their own accord, which isn't likely at this point because, why not just take the money for the final 12 months you're contracted and then make a decision? He's unlikely to be sacked too because just like with what's happening at Bayern the available options are very limited.
