Wonder if Klopp's missed his chance to manage a club where success is demanded from day one, or I f he ever wanted to anyway
If Zidane went and replicated that success anywhere else (or even came close to it), he’d be held in higher stock.
Who do people have as manager of the season? It will still depend on final results, but if things go as expected I'd have it:
Iraola > Emery = Arteta = Klopp > Guardiola
Guardiola has all the cheats turned on and still barely managed a 90 point season. Arteta has done well to improve on last season's tally, but they've benefited a lot from injuries and spent a lot. Klopp has the biggest total point increase, but I think most would put that down to last season being an aberration. Villa, for me, have simply put too much money in for it to be awarded to Emery. Bournemouth spent a lot as well, but the biggest point in Iraola's favour is that basically all their big signings were complete shit, so all their improvement must be on him as manager.

Good news about Jorginho signing an extension, still need another midfielder in the summer but he's far more reliable than Partey as a backup.
While I do like Potter, I'm not sure why there'd be clamour to get him over RDZ (I'm not suggesting they play the same style of football).
By Fergie Go To PostAston Villa are finito though. One of those ties were you did not expect that score line, not with Emery
6-2 on the AGG for Mount Olympus.
By Laboured Go To PostShocking keeping. Not his worst mistake in Europe. He scored an own goal against United a few years ago, grabbed a cross but went inside the goal with the ball.

Excellent keeper imo.
