By Plasma Go To PostBet we somehow drop points against them at the weekend, we never turn up at their ground.
By Crusher Go To PostErik will turn it around you can feel it
It starts at the weekend.
By Cleff Go To PostI would say this season is the culmination of a decade plus of poor recruitment; the lack of joined up thinking when selecting coaches that suit the players; poor strength and conditioning practices.who do we get though?
But we've had that same culmination point under Mourinho, Solksjaer and now Ten Hag. The institutional rot has set in so deep that it's going to take years for INEOS to fix.
It'll probably be up to a new manager to resolve as I don't think Ten Hag can stay. Even if he does still retain the players confidence, the first sign of poor performances next season would mean he has to go. You just don't get the same grace period as a new manager would. He's not a bad manager at all as showed by his time at Ajax and last season. But he couldn't navigate the above on recruitment and S&C etc. The last one is huge. Mourinho and Solksjaer both mentioned how ill prepared their players were physically. Been going on for years.
By n8 dogg Go To PostLi Tie, sentenced to life imprisonment after admitting to "accepting and offering bribes" while manager of the Chinese national team and for being involved in match-fixing while manager of Hebei China Fortune and Wuhan Zall.
damn.
Fucking hell. Big Sam just got sacked.
By Dazenheimer Go To Postwho do we get though?Dunno.
But I've a small hope that we'll see some plan for the future laid out this summer. We appear to be building a competent directorate at the very least.
Haven't followed much EPL in the past few months but think it's sad how Palace were able to make Hodgson disappear, compromised to a permanent end etc. Bet if you were to ask them what happened to him, they'd say he was never Palace manager, 1984
at least we'll have wins v united, chelsea and tottemham, city and Liverpool to remember this season by

By Dr3up Go To PostOur best season yet and we dont win it because of unchecked corruption… Now I know how Pool lads felt.Pep is relentless
I'm glad we all agree that things should go back to the way they were before all the oil money and corruption in football when United won the league every season like a proper club.
Braintree got promoted to the National League with a diving header in extra time in the playoff final
Harvey Elliott can be like Bernardo Silva for us. Not the quickest player, but a relentless presser with good technique and who if left space will kill you with a good delivery.
Aren’t you glad it isn’t people gleefully sharing Arsenal TV every week after a disaster result anymore
By Oddinho Go To PostAren’t you glad it isn’t people gleefully sharing Arsenal TV every week after a disaster result anymoreWere there any good ones of Pool fans after the lose at Everton?
By Dr3up Go To PostThis is the shite that’s wrong with the “modern” game. Rather than watch & enjoy the sport, people nowadays watch this bollocks instead. Then the tv and media outlets engage them too. So, instead of narrating the game for themselves, it turns into “trollol! Goldbridge tears! Huehuehue!” “AFTV 😂 “
Abolish this damn sport.
We're no different in here tho.
We post every engagement-farming tweet and dumbassery we can find that fuels this craziness.

I don’t think it’s that bad - these kinds of reactions are the things people have in their own homes when watching with family/friends. I think one of the reasons people enjoy the reactions is because they can be cathartic to see a fan reacting how you feel but can’t because your “audience” at home has no empathy. Or, they’re genuine comedy because the things people come up with when they’re so angry their language ability is compromised are hilarious. Lastly they also have value in the relief of knowing “at least I’m not as bad as that guy”.
Also to answer the above question despite it seeming to be in bad faith, I have a few post-match shows I’ll watch on YouTube to help process a bad result, but they’re never unhinged they way Goldbridge, Troopz or whoever is.

They're just post-match radio phone-ins taken to their logical 2020s conclusion. That's it.
Goldbridge is slightly unique because the real person (Brent Di Cesare!!!) has openly spoken about it being a character to a certain extent that he's been able to create a career out of because of how cartoonish it can be.
It's just not even that different to football TV media over the last 20 odd years, Soccer Saturday was full of fucking terrible takes and overtly OTT reactions to things. Even at the highest level of mainstream football media you have Roy Keane playing a character saying stuff like Haaland plays like a league 2 player.
He left his job as a police officer because he was tired of seeing dead bodies
Honestly think watching United every week might be worse

Still the funniest thing I've ever seen in football. Nothing to do with Boateng falling over either. It's comical how Messi could just change direction like that when moving at full speed. Stupid player.

fans cams and fan TV rants are great mate.
I have more fun watching that than the actual game because its so tense

Genuinely couldn’t watch a fan cam. Everyone getting phones out at football matches sickens me enuff. Just watch the fucking game. Cunts filming themselves responding to penos. Gross.
