By Koko Go To PostIs Sunday at 4:25 ET the new TNF?😂
🤔🤔
I do expect Mahomes to decline pretty rapidly since he takes Harden level care of his body, but I feel like that hasn't happened yet and this year is more about Reid and Kelce being washed. Not that it matters for the Chiefs as a team I guess.
By DY_nasty Go To Postgetting ran over by mahomes at the goal line lol
just going to be on ESPN's NFL front page for a week 🤣

By diehard Go To PostYou get to watch the NFL's true superstar, Baker Mayfield.Must be nice to get so many reboots to one's career
Baker and Sam turning into legit QBs shows that the NFLs writes QBs off too quickly. Shit, Marcus Mariota was looking sharp af yesterday
By s y brev Go To Postexcited to watch lamarfuck i jinxd it
By blackace Go To PostShit, Marcus Mariota was looking sharp af yesterdayi'd say 'its the panthers defense' but that's not even giving it full credit
its whats left of the panthers defense
confused. lamar got sacked twice, the last play being 3rd and 28. Can they not attempt a FG or touchdown pass or is automatically a punt to the other team after two sacks?

Taking sacks when you are close to field goal range is a big blunder.

I mean there are like 6 teams that needed a QB going into the season, just hoping they reached and got rejected lol

so the offense starts at the 35 yrd line by default. Ravens caught the punt and kneeled...this is because they didnt want to risk returning the punt for less than 35 yrds, right?
Can a team just start at the 35 yrd line and skip the opposing team punting the ball?

There has to be a kickoff, can't be skipped. However, really isn't much incentive for a receiving team to decline it. They have chance to fair catch it and take it at the 30, return it for a potential big return, or if the kick goes out of bounds then they get it at the 40.
This year they switched to this new "dynamic kickoff" in an attempt to prevent injuries. It's .. not really more dynamic and that's a silly name. If you were thinking they seem kinda pointless, lots of fans would likely agree with you now.
Teams can do an "onside kick" now only if they are trailing in the 4th quarter, where you kick the ball really short and try to get it to bounce off the opposing player and have your teams get to it first. It's basically a long shot to get the ball back again after you score and desperately need the ball.
