football is hard especially when playing it with hands
that penalty on that DK touchdown in the 4th ruined my night. the parlay hit on that play and he didnt do shit else the rest of the game
These London games. NFL should just go ahead and schedule a game in India and then Japan. Be on TV 24 hours straight.
By s y brev Go To Postwhy does no one ever try for a pass on a 4th down?diehard i need an answer
By s y brev Go To Postdiehard i need an answerDo you mean specifically why they tend to run vs pass on 4th down? Traditionally a run in a short yardage situation is the go-to play as its just a higher percentage to convert. It will almost always be a pass in 3+ yards to go situations.
Or do you mean why do they kick or punt instead of going for it on 4th down?
By diehard Go To PostOr do you mean why do they kick or punt instead of going for it on 4th down?this. I figure it is the safer option but i have never seen a team do otherwise so far, even when they are at the goal.
By s y brev Go To Postthis. I figure it is the safer option but i have never seen a team do otherwise so far, even when they are at the goal. They have all the analytics that tell them when to go for it based on what the data shows (change to make it at that distance, field position you give if you fail). It's pretty common for coaches to ignore what the analytics say and be more conversative. Having 3 points basically in the bag and failing on 4th down makes fans pretty mad, tbf.
