By n8 dogg Go To Postthoughts arsebros?For the most part, this is Teta’s squad beside youth academy players. We have like 6 LBs at the club and we’re rumored to be looking for one this season. I think one more clearing is in order, so we can get a striker, CM and winger… and I guess LB.
Given last season we’re at about where I expected. I think next season is when Teta will really need to win something.
The Timber injury really fucked our season really, we had plans of playing completely differently but had to revert to last season's system without really replacing Xhaka meaning our left side has near 0 creativity, and if Saka is having an off day Jesus and Martinelli are miles below their best of last season
Always thought we need that last window to get the last remains of our EL era (Cedric, Elneny, Nketiah, even Partey, etc) out of the squad and then we can seriously go for the CL
The PL tho? Choking twice in a row, after choking top 4 the year before, is disgraceful
