By Dazenheimer Go To PostU18s win the Premier League. Then again Tahith Chong was once United's Youth Player of the Year.
The future is bright.
None at all. When I was in school every single boy in my year wanted to be a footballer, and a couple of the girls too.
One guy did end up playing a bit for Hull to be fair.

An U18 set-up where the players all go on to become at least Championship standard is doing brilliantly overall, but they'd much rather have one or two players who become truly elite even if the others all fall by the wayside.
I used to pay some attention to our age group team results, but now they seem largely irrelevant to what the point of their existence is. Give me a shit reserve team with a TAA in it any day over eleven Flanagans winning the youth league.
Must be weird when you end up as one of those non-descript players who obviously isn't going to make it, and you're just there to play a supporting role for a player the club actually has high hopes for.

We've already done incredibly well with Quansah. Even Bajcetic is a long shot.
Edit didn't even mention Bradley, Liverpool will be super lucky to get more than 2 long term options
By Flutter Go To PostThen again Tahith Chong was once United's Youth Player of the Year.Chong is thriving at Luton.
This current crop of U18s have lost just 1 game all season and won the rest, there are some special kids in there, its where we got Garnach and Mainoo.
Its not just about getting into the first teams but also generating revenue for this new FFP world.
The margins for error at the very top are so slim that I've already decided that Doak has basically no chance, as harsh as that is. Maybe he'll go on loan and add some strings to his bow, or at least develop the ability to keep play ticking. All I recall of his appearances so far for the first team is being easily dispossessed by his opposition fullback, and he's supposedly the most electric dribbler we've had since Sterling.

FK and a red would be better for PSG. Arajuo is quality, now they'll get better chances.
Even so I would sub Dembele. Shite. Bring on Goncalo.

it is a red either way. you can get a red if you take away a goal scoring chance, without actively trying to play the ball.
