QFs was always the goal innit.
By n8 dogg Go To PostWhat a result for HIXX’S BOYSLeeds and Leicester have gone full lolSpurs.
Not ideal, City would not doubt be better at home with De Bruyne playing.
If the plan is similar to today's they need to do a better job a finishing their chances.

I think that loss to Southampton officially ends our playoff hopes for the season. Only thing we have left is FA Cup. O'Hare probably won't be signing a contract so I imagine the newly promoted teams with be snapping him up. Hopefully we have some money to spend during the summer.

HUGE.
We stay 13th.
In our last 5 games we've conceded 5 goals. They all came in one game. What a stat.
By Lego Go To Post75% of penalties the player does that let's be honest75% of penalties shouldn't be called

Not Vardy expertise yet Saka. Getting there.

Tbh I’m pleased with Arsenal’s result considering they haven’t been in UCL since ancient times. Saka made some dumb decisions and performance tonight could’ve been better, but the squad is inexperienced in this competition so imo all good.
By Koko Go To PostNot ideal, City would not doubt be better at home with De Bruyne playing.Think Madrid will struggle a lot more if Walker is back as well. Bad results tonight tbh but they have the experience, they can pull it off. I shall not remind brother Dan what happened a couple of years ago.

By bone Go To PostMadrid vs CIty is the best game of 2024uefa should've made a special adjustment just this time to play the matches at different times, missed out on a proper game

Man City v Arsenal and Dortmund v Barcelona?? 🤔

By Fergie Go To PostCL nights ain't easy Xpike. Gets to some.I don't really mind if we lose next week, QF to Bayern is not a dishonorable exit at all, but players need to get out of the underdog mentality they got on CL when they are demolishing every other team on the league

By Xpike Go To Postref straight up told him its not in line with fair play, nothing to see there
Obviously a penalty as per the rules, but it would be very shit if that tie was decided by something like that. That's certainly one where the punishment doesn't fit the crime. Good decision...even if it's objectively the wrong one.
By WoodenLung Go To Postsee that's an actual penalty+1
completely missed that in the game

Yeah I dont disagree with that.
But that ref is going to get deducted point for only one of those decisions...
It'd be dumb if a close tie is decide by that kind of pen, but it's also against the spirit of fair play or whatever to let teams who aren't concentrated off the hook just because it's a schoolyard mistake. Remember Casillas awful throw ins? A top team has to be on top of every single detail, including basics like kickoffs.
At the end of the day, it didn't change much, but if a ref wants to give that I have no problem with it.

But honestly I think that incident being a pen in the rules needs to change, should be an instant yellow card for the player and that's it. If that's a second yellow...tough shit, but it should never be a pen.

Pelanties in general are dumb. Not everything needs to be rewarded with a 75%> goalscoring chance.
I'd be in favour of more indirect free kick inside the area fuckery
