it was a braindead tackle and absolutely another sloppy pen
I'd be embarrassed if they didn't call it. We have to keep the tradition of giving away the game in the final 10 minutes. 5 streak and counting.

Good move for all involved. Gives Ajax a decent coach who has experience in possession based football.
Gives Potter a chance to show he can rebuild a team and win trophies.
Keeps him the fuck away from United.

Braindead tackle absolutely.
soft af tho. no contact made.
Potter would be great for Ajax, squad needs a lot of work so he would need some time to get it back on track.
Step down, but maybe his career needs a restart.

After Thursday night, I didn't know what to expect today, but it certainly wasn't to be out shot by Sheffield and to lineup and play 90 minutes without a left winger. They just completely ignored that side of the attacking third the entire game. Unbelievable tactics.
And to concede 2 goals for the seventh time in a row is just the worst. These defenders are just demoralizing.

By Fergie Go To PostReminds me of when O'Sullivan shook hands with Hendry during the middle of a match and left.
I know Everton won too, but what a weekend for Luton!
By FortuneFaded Go To PostFive of these teams are truly dead.
With only 6/7 games remaining, are we looking at 7 teams that won't break the 40 point barrier?
By NiceGuy Go To PostPeople don't talk much about what a shite job Santo has done at ForestHe's got them 15 points from 14, that's not terrible

Just got home to find out that Porto lost at home to Guimarães.
They could have taken advantage of Benfica's loss to reduce the difference to 6 points and still have a small chance to fight for the Champions League but that's definitely out.
With 6 games to go, they are 9 points behind Benfica and 13 from Sporting (with a game in hand so that could become 16).
Now they are suddenly involved in a fight for 3rd place with Braga and Guimarães who are just 2 points behind.
All 3 have very tricky matches, Porto has to face Sporting and will go to Braga on the final day, Guimarães will go to Sporting and host Braga in the Minho derby while Braga also has to go to Benfica.
Porto on the Conference League would be hilarious.

So the solution is for teams who are used to playing against good midfields implement training to account for shit ones, because somehow United have managed to cause a dilemma for players who don't expect to have as much time and space as they do.

Jones pissed me right off when he came on btw
Seemed to be more concerned with trying to draw fouls than actually keeping the ball moving, and ended up just getting tackled in really poor areas. If Antony had scored against us again my foot would have gone through the TV.

He wasn’t as effective as usual, but it was his first appearance after a long time out. Klopp wanted more control of the game and he helped that quite a bit.
Nothing is more frustrating than the chances Diaz, Nunez and Salah missed. Some of them were ambitious shots that narrowly went over, and Onana had a few good saves too and all that is fine. But all the work that goes into giving these players an open goal and they just fire it over the bar… it wasn’t just a lot of shots - it was a lot of high quality chances.
Morning, lads. Have Arsenal won the PL yet?

By Dazenheimer Go To PostDickhead.Don’t blame him. He’d be great for them but Ajax board is a dumpster fire right now. Probably the reason why.
