Can't really choose to go into seasons with Konate and Matip as 2nd and 3rd choice CBs and then be annoyed that you can't get a full season out of either of them. They were injury prone before we even signed them.
Yeah the injury crisis is of our own making. Quansah looks pretty sturdy, which is good.
Klopp is right though that Arsenal in particular have had a very charmed season in terms of injuries to key players. Their most important players are Gabriel, Saliba, Saka, White, Rice and Ødegaard and they’ve all played virtually every game this season.
It’s funny because Arsenal have traditionally been a club that has had awful luck with players being out injured but this year they’ve not had a bad one to speak of. The only players that have really been out have been ones that don’t matter like Jesus and Partey

Does anyone here have much experience of using the Elizabeth Line? I have to change trains at Paddington to get onto the northern branch of the line but I can't tell whether I have to change platform to do it, or just get off and wait for a later train. None of the ones from Maidenhead go straight to Stratford without the change, and I'd rather not faff about when I get there.
Thiago, Konate, Matip, Jota, Jones is two too many injury-prone players I think. Not sure any other team has that many, though others have obviously had it far worse than us this season.

Tottenham court road is a bit tricky, follow the signs because it's a bit of a walk.

I guess they'd let me off but rather not risk it. Normally I just go straight to Liverpool Street for the train to Norwich, but it was legit half the price to get it from Stratford instead. Quite tempted to just go there anyway and claim that I missed my stop at Paddington, it's the same train up there anyway.

Arsenal have the had the second easiest injury record this year of the top 6, only City are doing better. 882 days lost through injury. Liverpool, United, Chelsea, Newcastle, Spurs have all had 1200 or more. Again, no one cares if Partey or Jesus are out. Partey especially, has been flatly replaced by a far better player who has played nearly every game this year. Jesus I guess can at times be semi-useful, in terms of hold up play. But that’s one kind of important player, otherwise it’s been smooth sailing.
9 of Arsenal's starting XI have been available for practically every game this season. It's an arbitrary figure, but they've had 7 players rack up more than 2500 mins in the league, none of their rivals have more than 3 players available so much.
Not sure why Arsenal fans get defensive over this, it's not like they've cheated to get there unlike certain others

Bad luck with Timber. Partey was one of your most important players last year but you bought Rice. Overall it's been a pretty lucky season in terms of injuries for Arsenal, it's an objective fact.
Doesn't take anything away from the season they've had ofc.

Iirc United have been linked with Olise a lot. He's a very good player, but again I don't think right wing is an area that needs to be prioritised. We need at least one fullback, central defender and central midfielder before we prioritise a wing. Especially when we already have a good starting winger in Garnacho.
By Scum Go To Postwe would be daft to not be entertaining either of them at that price
Which one ends up at Man City?
lol, lmao even, like picking up a little kid

What did you say to him, Hitch?
By Laboured Go To PostYour "Rashford is a mid-table club quality player" take is as intriguing as your "AWB is a back-up quality RB" take.
I feel like it’s time to pull this one out.

By Laboured Go To PostDo you think Anal Slut will be a success at Liverpool, bud?
he's very, very good. he's the total package, tactically and communicatively. should be easier for him as well than for, say, ten hag considering liverpool are in much better shape than united.
if he doesn't make it, then the dutch manager brand is officially dead.
looks like rvp will accept the heerenveen job in the eredivisie. curious to see how that'll go.
