Leave the training session, have a meeting with the players about it, escalate it to other coaches, leak it to your agent. It just feels there were an abundance of other ways to handle achieve some sort of resolve rather than... yeah fuck it I quit. Just feels a little extreme. Southgate picked you, you're obviously respected by your national team mates, you are fairly liked by the public so hard to imagine it was some kind of hostile environment.
