By Hixx Go To Postman waffling. you gonna go to the semi? should be ez tickets.
just like it should have been ez when we played milwall in the semi 20 years ago and jason mcateer got sent off the fucking wankstain
No I'm not going. Tickets were hard to come by last year and the allocation will be smaller this time. Plus it would involve leaving the house.
that is disappointing
(can someone clip up bud's bane impression, especially the FOR YOU part. it would be very useful)

By Willkiller Go To PostWell, the rules are also shit imo. Keeping the same financial restrictions for 10 years ignores so much that has changed in the game in that time, i think it's absolutely mental the parameters haven't been adjusted in that time considering how much finance in football has changed in that time.Yeah it's really harsh that owners can only put in 30 million per year to cover losses. And also put an unlimited amount of money into infrastructure to allow clubs to increase revenue through the stadium. And put unlimited amounts into youth teams to allow clubs to build for the long term. So really all a club has to do is pump money in and wait 10 years, all while the owner can put in an extra 30m a season for transfer costs.
As for it being a deterrent….I really don't think it is. I mean for us, with how restricted we seem to be i'd seriously be considering breaking PSR and taking a points hit, it's only really a deterrent if you're right down in the relegation mix. 4/6 even 10 points for a team comfortably in the top half or at least, no where near relegation is fuck all compared potential benefit it can bring.
Truly, it is impossible for a club to overcome these restrictions
Not sure the whole "we'll take the points loss" thing will fly either. Points deductions are not capped and...
They should take like 1150 points off City and they have to earn them all back before they can gain positive points again. So 10 years of relegation, and then 10 more years to get promoted back to the Premier League.
That's what I would deem to be fair. Also their titles go to the club geographically closest whoever they may be.

Trincão has been dismissed from the National Team due to injury. Shame, he deserved the call up, he has been great.
Nice to see Bruno getting some praise. Mad how he's played every game it feels like. Most definitely played when not 100% fit either.

With this points sanction stuff - does it only affect the teams for one season or will teams be deducted points each year their finances don't meet the requirements? For example, if Everton are fucked financially going into next season, will they be deducted points next season too?
Just wondering if teams like Newcastle can say fuck it and spend whatever in one summer window, take the hit for the season and then be ok the following year.

Championship defenders couldn't get close to him lmao. The interplay between him and Roberts... in the immortal words of Bobby Saxton: it was fucking delightful.
Kasey Palmer will be suspended for the match because he booked for running onto the pitch while celebrating the winner, and yet Amad can play even after getting sent off. Utter bullshit.

Utter bullshit.Wait What why? That the suspension follows through into premier league but not championship or something?
Palmer only got a yellow which don't transfer over to the league. Amad got a red which does allow you to serve the suspension in the league. Also Kasey only getting a yellow means we can't appeal.

Seems like how that would work, yeah

Bruno's personal chef is a Mackem. I thought nutrition was important for footballers? Dude going on the pitch full of pease pudding could explain some of his performances.
