maybe get Mount on, I dont know.
Anyway, I won't be returning for the 2nd half.
Its nuts how these can't break the 30 mins barrier for good play.
Amrabat and Eriksen would have been better choices to try and have a semblance of control, I suppose. Not necessarily the right choices - we’ve clearly tried to play Pool at their own game re: chaos ball.
United turned up to play for 15mins then decided to become the worst team possible for no apparent reason.
Also a few dribbles does not mean Mainoo is any less culpable for the chasm in United's midfield as his two partners.

It’s been a thing with Ten Hag - he plays a 4 man pressing unit that hounds the deepest CM and blocks the passes up to the next line. We’ve seen a few times today where a diagonal pass through the press has gotten behind that and led to a huge patch of green to run into.
I think the pressing unit’s proximity to the center of the box is why you see McTom score a fair few goals - a loose ball picked up by Garnacho or Fernandes can often find him lurking in the area.
The downside is obvious though. You just have no one in the center to actually play passes.
I do think Mainoo looks like a very tidy player, he has the press resistance that managers are desperate for these days. However, he’s basically a 1 man midfield, with his closest options AWB and Dalot.

By Oddinho Go To PostAnyway it’s only 1-2 and still 45 to play.its over blud this is ending 1-3 or 1-4
Don't think we should be playing corners with the intention that Salah ends up crossing it in, it's not what he's good at
Some of these players need to hit the gym...
Although Quansah held onto Garnach there. Ref was looking right at it too...

In his last 6 and a half matches across all competitions for United, Onana has faced a total of 135 shots.

This is insane lmao. 20 shots a game.
Man U were genuinely decent for a good 35 mins in the first half. This is absolutely pathetic at home now. It would be pathetic at Anfield, but jesus…
Just a pathetic team, mentally and physically.
We can't even get 90mins of sustained focus or fight. It's all reliant on the opposition giving up. Pool haven't even been great and yet 1-2 up and pretty much relaxed.

By NiceGuy Go To PostWe've made a right bollocks of punishing this Man Utd performance.
