WiFi deadzone: Best remedy?

I'm in a new apartment and there is a massive deadzone somewhere between my bedroom and the living room where the router lives that makes my signal strength trash. I can get a wifi extender but there aren't any convenient wall outlets where it should live.
The signal strength weakens the moment I walk into the hallway.
The bedrooms also have giant mirrors for the closet slide panels, which makes me think might be an issue as well.
Any advice?

Did you try changing the channel the Wifi signal is broadcasted on? You can do this by logging into the router IP.
Other than that, I would just recommend getting a some sort of bridge to boost the Wifi signal. I know you said that there isn't an outlet nearby, but I'm sure it'd still help.

I got a Linksys W4100 extender. I think it seemingly helped, but now I'm just not sure how good Comcast is up here or not, either, heh.
What are you getting on http://www.speedtest.net under ideal conditions?
Comcast is actually decent here in South Florida. Getting 85 Mbps down on Wireless and around 120 on wired.

I've seen it anywhere from 20MBbps to 150MBps. Hard to tell. 80 under ideal? Should be 105. Just now I got 105.
And of course PS4 won't connect to WiFi :|

105 is pretty good tbh, especially for wireless. PSN is a piece of shit, but on Steam that would mean you could download at ~10 MBps.
So if a game is like 40 GB's.. you could download it in about 66 minutes. PSN speeds I get like 2 MBps because it's fucking terrible. It really makes no sense to be honest, I have my desktop plugged into the same hub as my PS4 and the PS4 gets half the speeds. (Both wired connections)
