How come sometimes the stratagem ball sticks to enemies? Wonder if you could stick one to a teammate and have them run into a heavy to guarantee it hits. Might try a minefield/sentry set-up next mission I play, finding that on Challenging the terminids normally destroy my sentries quite easily

I’m also really surprised how well it runs on the deck. Still has a choppy frame rate when all the air strikes are going off, but the frame times seem pretty consistent. Doesn’t stutter whatsoever for me.
Have you PC lads put the stratagem input keys somewhere that lets you move while you enter them? Kinda wish they were on face buttons instead of d-pad, but assume it's on purpose.
When I hold down LB/L1 to do the input it fixes me in place? Or have I been doing it wrong and I only need to press LB/L1 once?

Hellbombs seem very fragile, quite frustrating to arm it and then vacate the area with no idea whether it's still there or been destroyed.
I like the sub objectives that impact the main ones, like mortars covering the area you want to be in, and spore stacks impeding your vision. Took me ages to figure out that the former kept destroying my hellbombs and I needed to take a detour to get rid of them.
Guessing you can't shoot them out of the air, wonder if the projectile shield stratagem would have worked

Not a fan of these automaton mines being hidden in red grass. The number of robots that can spawn and just swarm at you is mental.

So it turns out you definitely can run as you are entering your strategem code, but for some reason I can only run backwards or sideways with LB held down. Very odd.
Anyways, I'mma try and map the d-pad to my keyboard arrow keys so I can easily tap in the code with LB held down and using the left stick. Might not work tho.

I couldn’t run with a controller or keyboard when inputting the 10 hit combos. I figured it was absolutely by design to add tension into calling in stratagems in the middle of a conflict.
That slight panic when you’re low on ammo/grenades, you’re dodging a charger and you’ve got to input the GTA SA jetpack cheat code to respawn the squad. It’s great design imo

If you hold square, you can change the mechanics of the weapon you're currently holding. Keeping the flashlight on, increasing the fire rate of the LMG, semi auto, burst fire, etc

Also with the railgun you can set it to unsafe mode and exceed its usual charge but it can explode and kill you :lol

I mean, you can just shoot it. And also I think I've taken more damage from gatling turrets so far lol.
Did my first challenging level mission on Ubanea and fuck me that was amazing. Also mopped up the daily challenge in one mission which was nice.

I think we had 4 Bio Titans running around at some point, me and a squaddie both let loose are 350mm barrages at the same time for some grand fireworks and killing them all 4.
