Good change. IT felt sort of right for the bug outbreak but now it just feels mad everywhere regardless.
We're changing patrols and spawn rate (reverting).
Helldivers!
As many of you have noticed, something has been off with patrols and spawn rate for some time now. This primarily leads to more enemies rearing their ugly heads than they're supposed to, indirectly to players feeling overrun, kiting, and subsequently less fun gameplay. This has been the case for all players, but predominantly for smaller teams and solo playing. We've been aware, but frankly, the past couple of weeks have been so hectic that we haven't been able to give this the TLC that it required. We now have, and we've concluded that it's not working as intended and we're changing it. There might be some minor tweaks, but overall we're reverting back to how patrols and spawn rate worked before the patch that changed them a few weeks ago.
We believe that this is more or less how you currently want them to be.
We also know you want us to do things and changes properly instead of rushing them, and we do as well. Therefore, implementing this will take some time. We want to give it proper testing and review it … ah heck, simply see that it works this time. Even if this means we're faced with more bugs and bots than even the bravest of citizens would deem realistic for a while longer, we hope you're happy with us fixing the problem.
Onwards and upwards!
Whelp, we didn't get the anti-tank mines again...

I love Meridia. I did a night mission on Helldive difficulty and got ganked by a swarm of hive guards exactly like that dude at the beginning in Starship Troopers. It's some straight up Klendathu shit. You cannot relax for a single second and have to be constantly moving and looking everywhere like DOOM Eternal. Suicide is like any other planet, very doable. Impossible and Helldive have a significant difficulty spike that makes it harder than any other planet ever. Malevelon Creek and Hellmire are walks in the park by comparison. I usually do Impossible for bugs and Suicide for bots as my comfort difficulties. Impossible here feels harder than Helldive on other planets.
Well I hope you enjoyed it because it just collapsed into a black hole. Just don't be alarmed by the sounds it emits, which are completely normal black hole sounds.
Nice!!

Based on player input, we're changing our approach to Warbonds moving forward in a couple of ways. Firstly, we're slowing down the pace at which we release Warbonds to give us a little bit more time to polish these designs before they're released. We don't want to rush anything out of the oven before it's fully baked.
Secondly, we are changing the arrangement of items in each Warbond to make room for new item types, and also higher quality armor and weapons. This will prevent us from simply adding more of everything, which can lead to weapons that feel redundant and uninteresting armor. It's time to focus on quality over quantity. When we started researching items for Viper Commandos, we wanted to be sure we answered our player calls for stronger theming that coordinates across all the items, more emotes, unique armor passives, and more thoughtful designs rather than simply giving more of the same.
Super Samples at 6 just made this comfort gaming again.
A lot of the strategem changes are great all around. Definitely feels like I can mix things up and just sling shit more or less.

Seeing a lot more of their molted exoskeletons around than before. For the first time ever, I rode a charger behemoth like a bull yesterday. It broke my leg when it bucked me off it.
