Far to many Manu players should not be at that club. The moment few key player miss it turns to incoherent mess.
Martinez gone, no normal play out of back
Shaw, no left side def/offensive
Hoijlund, no outlet or pressing game as Marcus can or, or does not want to do that.
Still need min 6/7 new quality players if you want to be part of the top 6 continously.
This team is lucky to be in top 10 ( ignoring injuries)

By Laboured Go To PostSame exact strategy and same exact problems. Only way we win games is from individual excellence outmatching how bad the tactics are.Go back to Helldivers, m8.
By Xpike Go To PostBrighton being 7 still is pretty impressive considering they look shit almost all the time now
De Zerbi rotates too much, I think. If they finish top 10 and get to the latter stages of Europa, it's a really good season.
By Willkiller Go To PostFinally, a result that fits the performance
Captaincy in football is pretty much all about attitude because it has little functional application, and his is fucking shocking. Not just towards officials and opposition, but his own teammates at times, it's Cristiano-esque
Sure, but the attitude of very many is even worse. Maguire is the only one I'd look at starting in that team today who does anything other than walk about with their heads down and eyes averted if we lose.
By n8 dogg Go To PostI think we have played well against:I think you decent fine against Luton tbh
Spurs A (for 45 minutes)
Arsenal A
Everton A
Villa H
Wolves A
West Ham H
We lost the first two, and came very close to losing or drawing Villa and Wolves.
Absolutely not good enough.
As much as you were all moaning about the tactics, you should have won it 4-1.

On one hand, you'd argue that it's bad luck that the three players arguably most important to our tactical set up are out injured.
On the other, it's incompetence there's no natural replacements for when any of those three options are out.

Playing decent against a team made up of Championship and League One players does not count.
By n8 dogg Go To PostBut no one else is deserving of it.
that doesnt make it any less funny.
if anything, it makes it even funnier.
but maguire. however seeing as your own fan base started booing him…

Would say Maguire, yeah. But he was on the transfer list at the start of the season.
Just smacks of the atrocious job ETH is doing at the moment.

You should be able to deal with it, but there are not enough quality options in debt, no pun intended.
besides the few positions you need better starters for.
Man, watching Lindelol on the left.
No striker, Marcus dodging every 50/50
Bruno treating the ball with neglect.
Only Garnacho was trying.
Every player that stood tall last season is either injured or so badly off form they might as well not be playing.
These man aren't making top 4. They didn't seem up for it today.
Sir Jimbo pls give the go ahead to sell these guys.

Malacia being out all season is annoying, but it's criminal we have no back up for Hojlund.
the first team does need a cdm.... 16 year old is old enough imo. lets dew it.
the bigger story, the guy assisting is called Neo Ozzy Jönsson. He needs to make it. Cause what a name

United are well within striking distance of top 4/5, Jim'll fix it has to get rid of 10 Months too many, right?

I want ETH to succeed.
But man, that performance was horrid.
Losing Martinez and Shaw makes us a bottom half team and that is crazy.

Doesn't really matter for whom, does it. Caretaker managers with zero experience have done better jobs.

It will stick with me for some time that ETH took a decent system that needed some improvements from last season, placed it in the bin, and then devised a new system for us to play this season which is functionally worse in every conceivable way.
Remarkable levels of self-sabotage.
He will lose his job for it and rightly so tbh.

Stats are all well and good.
But I saw players who looked very uncomfortable, sluggish and couldn't make 5 yard passes.

Put these guys in Pep's system and they would fail - look at them. second to every 50/50, and taking every wrong option available.
By Scum Go To PostNot even inky would say this in FM.tm9, I send a striker to the reserves if they go consecutive games without scoring
I would never praise my players for doing their fucking job, let alone losing. Losers get sold.

There are systemic answers to these issues (being poorly set up to close down loose balls and incorrectly understanding where their team mates will be in possession) even if squad quality is also a problem.
By Plasma Go To PostTen Hag is such a loser.Even Bald Fraud Levy knew.
