Max or Lewis would have driven their teammate of the track in the 2nd chicane, no way they would have been passed. Lando still to nice, to much team player when he should be thinking me me me.
Norris is still the better driver at McLaren but Piastri is just getting better and better.

I made this post after the season opened with two RBR 1-2s and Max getting pole at Australia.
Standings:
Lando closing in more, but gap could should have been a lot less. McL and Lando need to get their sh@t together and also focus on WDC, not just WCC

Aston Martin have won the race to sign Adrian Newey, with the Formula 1 design guru joining the British manufacturer on a long-term deal as Managing Technical Partner.
He’ll join on March 1 2025, in time for him to have an impact on the 2026 car that will be built to sweeping new regulations including a new power unit formula.
The 65-year-old will have access to a brand-new factory, including a new wind tunnel and in-loop simulator, and be challenged with integrating a new works power unit supplier in the shape of Honda.

By now it is, McL win and can .....
- Can Ferrari with bit more downforce be up there and be first challenger again? Also few more slower corners/traction
- Merc did not have pace on lowest downforce in Monza, but can they go back to winning ways with some more downforce (D-efficiency)
- RBR, do have they have an idea what floor was doing (wrong) and can they fix that. Track more dependent on downforce efficiency (Spa), should suit them better
Behind them Aston looked a bit better in Monza, can they keep that up. Haas goes fast in straight, but the rest? RB have been struggling lately and Alpine probably OK S2, but the rest?

FP1:
- 3 red flags, so runs on mediums were a bit compromised.
- No difference in tires used between top teams, other than Charles having not used the red ;) .
- Max really fast up until last corner, lost a lot from there to the S&F line, not sure if deployment/PU-modes-drag we will have to wait through the weekend to get a better read. But RBR looked better balanced than they managed through out the weekend in Monza right now (looks like they took some volume from the diffuser, similar to what Ferrari did aka less (peak) downforce)

George had to change PU, lost min 30 mins did program lot later than others. Quick lap in long-run traffic, clean?)
- Ferrari, Carlos normal run, Charles after Ferrari rebuild car problems front-end and back to pits and stayed in the pit for a long time (repair). Did run in the end, in long-run traffic but had gap, clean lap and was similar to Max before final corner.

Would say right now money on Charles, but track will get more grip in Q session and that might hinder/help some teams.
