this has to be the biggest ITX case ever.
how did that monstrous cpu cooler fit in there? when he started putting it on i thought it was a joke
Doesn’t seem that big really. Probably similar in overall size to the Coolermaster NR200, but 10mm~ wider for bigger CPU heatsinks.
Used to be a fairly popular trend in ITX cases to make a 20L cube case that could fit a big hefty CPU cooler. Silverstone and Fractal both had cases in that vain around 2015-2017.

Need to pick up a mouse for home gaming + work
The only ones I can find at the moment that will connect to two devices are the Razer Basilisk V3 Hyperspeed and Logi G603. Anyone know other options?

Don’t know. Laptop mice are usually Bluetooth and can pair to multiple machines.
With that said, I’ve been a big proponent of a gaming mouse for gaming and a separate ergo mouse for work rather than compromising on one or the other.

I still run the G Pro Superlight & G502 that reason. Top tier combination.
Any suggestions on a PC gaming mouse then? Something in and around £60.
I don't really play FPS or similar games. Twitchiest game I've played over the last years was Neon White

You might want to try a mouse with optical switches. Never have to worry about the mouse registering double-clicks when it shouldn't. It looks like Logitech has a hybrid optical/mechanical solution branded under LIGHTFORCE. Not sure about prices, though. I know Razer has some optical switch mice, and I would think Steelseries and Glorious do, too.

It might sound silly but it’s hard to give a solid recommendation because gaming mice are all so similar and honestly, good.
I’m fond of the G305, I used to have one. It was a great all around wireless mouse and fairly cheap. Razer have their own alternative, the Orochi. It’d be equally fine. Possibly slightly better in terms of weight balance and click longevity.
I’m really fond of the G502 shape, so if it’s on sale I would recommend the wireless model of that. Again though, there’s a lot of very good derivatives of that shape that would be equally good. Razer Basilisk for example. The Basilisk V3 wireless is on sale (Amazon) currently for £55~. It’d be fine for if you want an ergo style mouse.
My preconceived bias would say to avoid Corsair and Steelseries options.
By JesalR Go To PostGrabbed the Razer Basilisk V3, figure I'll try it out and see how it feelsYeah, don’t be afraid to experiment. Mice fit everyone’s hands differently so it might take a while to find something that feels good to you.
By Laboured Go To PostAnyone here used Arc browser? I am at least intrigued.I know some MacOS fans have been singing its praises the last few months. Not sure if it is still invite-only or what.
From what I understand, it is mostly just a different presentation and organization of tabs that fits power users better than traditional browsers.

Filed a claim with Amazon for a 120€ marketplace purchase that never got refunded. If I get my money back, I'm thinking of buying the Ninjutso Sora V2. One of the side buttons of my modded G Pro has started double clicking occasionally and I don't feel like performing surgery again.
Any other recent recommendations for claw grippers? Been out of the mouse game for a while now.

I dunno about the claw grip, but Pwnage has mice as good as their brand name is bad. I’ve been enjoying my Stormbreaker, at least.
Always wanted to try a Zowie EC2 shaped mouse. This is almost twice the price of the Sora V2 tho. Will consider, thanks.
Zabo, this site might be useful for you: https://www.eloshapes.com/
You can pick a mouse and then find other mice with a similar shape.

Saw the fractal north in person today, and I think i've found my next tower.
Allah I cant wait to build a completely new pc. Going to try and sell this pc when I build a new one, keeping nothing except an ssd drive or two. Now just for rtx 5 series to come out.

I built my buddy's video editing rig in the Fractal North last month. The mesh panel version was out of stock, he didn't want to wait and bought the tempered glass one instead. It was a very straightforward build, case is very practical and somewhat spartan on the inside as you'd expect from Fractal, with quite a few lovely QoL improvements and modern touches over the Define towers I owned in the past. One specific minor thing I remember is how easy it is to remove the front panel, where it always felt like you were going to break something with their prior cases.
For a while there I thought he mistakenly bought the North XL. Guess I'm just not used to the size of midi towers anymore.
I don't know what I'm going to do for my next build. Ideally I'd like to keep the Meshlicious, but the 5090, funds permitting, will probably require something slightly larger. Mesh is 15l, so a 20l mesh case would be perfect.

If the cables are long enough and there are no bandwidth nor cooling issues, I could see someone rig up a tiny ass case that's visible but the GPU hidden below a desk somewhere.

Such that a computer is the GPU plus add-in cards. Basically, an extension of the SoC stuff that is already happening.

And honestly, it's the only way to achieve any sort of efficient power delivery with good heat management.
By reilo Go To PostThanks, Apple. But you're right. And honestly, it's the only way to achieve any sort of efficient power delivery with good heat management. The only thing I’d hate about it is the lack of repairabilty, upgradability, and customization. If it’s all soldered together as a chip, you’d have to replace the whole thing even if all you wanted was more ram.
I imagine it'll be a compromise, where stuff like RAM is clearly upgradable -- maybe even the CPU. One can dream.
By HottestGrapes Go To PostI really do think a second Steam Controller could have been a goat'd controller. As is, it is merely very useful.
This is cool and bizarre in equal measure
By Kibner Go To PostI really do think a second Steam Controller could have been a goat'd controller. As is, it is merely very useful. The biggest thing holding back the Steam Controller for me was that so many games just don’t support hybrid mouse and controller control inputs.
Trackpads are cool, I wish the console manufacturers would get with it and swap out the right stick for a big trackpad going forwards. Properly configured, it feels great for aiming.

Never rated them anyway.
Though all these companies seem pretty bad. EVGA had a great reputation but they had some really bad QC issues throughout the years. Gigabyte had exploding PSUs, MSI too many to mention.
All hail ASRock I guess?

ASrock do make the Sonic motherboards and also crank out some wonderfully, insanely niche products on a routine basis, so, yeah. They cool.

They're all terrible, which is why I tend to buy everything on Amazon these days, so I can (to a point) avoid having to deal with these bozos directly when it comes to warranty claims.
Speaking of, Amazon got me my 120€ back, I ordered the Sora V2.

How cool is head tracking? So cool. Old tech, but it's still impressive how flawlessly it works with just an open source app and a cheap IR camera. Can't imagine playing Star Citizen without it these days. The only downside is having to wear IR LEDs on your head(set), which is why I might yet try the Tobii Eye Tracker, possibly when the next version comes out. Hopefully it will support bigger (distance from) displays and will be a tad more responsive than the current iteration, the latter being why I opted for IR tracking instead of Tobii's face and eyes tracking. It's also way cheaper.
