By data Go To PostMax around 450 I'd sayAh, the coward's budget. Not low enough for bottom of the barrel monitors, not quite high enough for a 1440p OLED screen, which really is what you should be buying in 2024.
Size preference? Obviously <=27" is recommended for that resolution.
By data Go To PostMax around 450 I'd sayLet me ask around.
The AOC Q27G3XMN comes highly recommended in the budget 1440p category, an actually HDR capable LCD.
If you're not getting an OLED, might as well get this one. OLED 1440p 27-inchers go for around 700$ at the lowest, I think.

You’ve been playing boomer shooters on console?
Cause I play boomer shooters and tf2

By Kibner Go To PostThe Gigabyte M27Q also seems to be a god recommendation in the sane price range ($270 on Amazon right now).Solid budget monitor to be sure, but it's getting really old at this point. The AOC, while VA with all that it entails, is a surprisingly good LCD with 360 local dimming zones. I can't in good conscience recommend buying an LCD monitor in 2024, especially if you're buying it for the long term, much less so a non-HDR one. But if you have to get one, I'd rather avoid edge-lit panels.
Maybe data's priorities are different though, idk. If you're only going to be playing fast paced boomer shooters, maybe you should prioritize refresh rate and pixel response, so a 240/360hz TN or IPS panel.

Preferably on Amazon so I can use my store card so it dont deactivate from lack of use since I dont hardly use it anymore and I can justify a higher price tag on a monthly payment

There's quite a few 1440p 27" OLEDs to choose from. Those that use LG's 240hz WOLED panel, which is the more battle-proven OLED tech, and those that use Samsung's 360hz QD-OLED panel, which offers higher peak brightness and somewhat better colors, but has its own shortcomings, like inferior screen coating. In the latter category there's the Alienware AW2725DF and the MSI MPG 271QRX, neither of which seems to be available on Amazon.
The one you mentioned is pretty much the top of the line 27" 1440p 240hz WOLED monitor and is priced accordingly. I believe Asus have now clarified that their 2-year warranty covers burn-in as well. Not quite as good as Alienware's 3-year burn-in protection, but still solid.
Acer Predator X27U is 200$ cheaper, it has the same panel and apparently Acer have fixed most of its quirks with the 2.0 firmware update, so that might be a good alternative, if you're looking to save some money. Much the same is true of the AOC AG276QZD.
I recommend you watch the reviews of the above monitors on Monitors Unboxed on YT to get a proper idea what you'd be getting.

By data Go To PostThis what I got right nowOh, yeah, you'd basically have to get an OLED if you want a monitor that is noticeably better than what you already have.

tempting
By reilo Go To PostShow me.How do you feel about external radiators? Very unnecessary, but very cool, imo. Especially with the Lian Li Infinity fans. This is not a SFF case, but the fans can be used in one.
Bonus: make it liquid cooled
You can coordinate them and they connect directly to each other so not a whole bunch of extra wires.
Do I look like I go to raves to you
Joking aside, I helped my wife's nephew set those up so I know how they work

There’s also the excellent looking Fractal Terra and Fractal Ridge cases.
I really want a Fractal Ridge personally
Edit: Kibner posted the Terra.

There are also really minimal cases that could fit in your entertainment center without standing out:
Wouldn’t recommend a Zaber Sentry (top pic) but the Ridge (bottom) despite being a bit big (almost twice the size of a PS5 iirc) is my pick for a living room PC.
My plan long term after buying a new TV for my living room is rebuilding my current PC into a Ridge. Good cooling, big GPU support, minimalist aesthetics.

I could see him rocking something like this with a mesh side-panel, tbh.
Headphones and PS5 controller and all.
