And then there's the little dialogue changes that are made based on the tiniest things you can do while playing. There's sick people working at that studio.
By Patriotism Go To Postfr i've just completed back-to-back playthroughs. The animation and environmental cohesion makes some current gen games feel like they're last gen compared to this PS4 upscale.
The amount of variations of the same action is insane. It's more impressively animated than RDR2 without sacrificing player control or input response.
Unfortunately TLOU2 has done more harm than good. Hope Naughty Dog takes some accountability with their next game because they nearly ruined gaming.

the good was amazing, the bad was boring
really just depends on how well you can tolerate the pacing.
the game basically goes back and forth between 3-4 hrs of the most lit shit you've ever played.
then 3-4 hrs of fetch quests and go kill 3 wolves type shit. there's also like 50 (random estimate) hunt bosses you get access to throughout the game and i usually fought those during the fetch quest segments just to keep the pacing nice for myself.

Was it Uncharted 3 where they went way overboard with the wall-touching animation, and Drake would basically reach and and touch every wall that he was within 2 feet of to the point that it looked like he had a problem?

I think I have the basics to navigating around the desktop with Sway (a window tile manager) down. Lets me navigate my desktop quickly and easily by keyboard (once the shortcuts are memorized). I seem to have a problem with sound in Steam but no issues with browsers or anything, yet. Installing everything I can as a Flatpak. Once I get things setup, I will have to backup my .config directory so that I can keep all the changes in case I need to wipe or something.

Most bosses tend to be shambling eldritch monstrosities, so their size makes sense. Melania looks like a normal human woman with the swole sliders max'd out.
I I often prefer normal sized enemies in souls games, Gherman and Maria are still Goated.

DD1 didn't have any steam mods and was modded out at Nexus which I am not a huge fan of
PC is just the default platform you should buy for, but give it a few days at least to find out what the port is like.
I mostly have faith in Capcom ports running well though. Can be shitty in other ways, but performance tends to be good.
