It's just you playing regular poker hands vs a set score. (score is determined by chip amount times the multiplier)
Planet cards will upgrade the various hands you can play in Poker.
Tarot cards give certain bonuses to cards in your deck, Planet cards or give you a new Joker.
Joker cards are passive bonuses which trigger under certain conditions.
Joker A will give you a +4 multiplier in score when you play a hand.
Joker B will give you a +4 multiplier in score when you play a hand containing an Ace, 2, 4, 6

You have 3 hands to play and 3 options to discard up to 5 cards.

After you beat the set score, you get a certain amount of money (depending on leftover Hands, Discards and accrued Interest)
Then you can buy: Jokers (for multipliers/chips/..) Planets (to level Poker Hands) Tarots (various bonuses) playing cards (add new playing cards to your deck, which can also have powers) Store bonus.

If you understand this, it shouldn't be that hard to play but it will take you a while to win.
Trying out different combo's in building a certain engine.

It's all about finding synergies with the jokers and boosting multipliers. Flush is one of the easier hands to score with, so to improve that kind of hand: use planets (Jupiter) to level it up, pick Jokers that give chips or Multi with same suits or even/odd cards, try to add cards of a single suit and buff them to make flush easier, etc.

Then you'll start seeing synergies for the other types of hands, etc. I believe in you.
