I'm at the end of a second TLOU2 (well, fourth if we count the PS4 version years ago) playthrough. Love the game.
I hope they continue to invest in the mode because I've really enjoyed it over the last week or so while practicing different strategies on Grounded.

Well, that was quite insane for my second hand in the full game.
Even then, the jumps are absolutely insane. I was doing 1.2m a hand and I wasn't very close to beating that round. So the potential for even crazier runs is....extremely high (and completely required to go much further)
My first run went great... built around Obelisk (+0.25x mult if you don't repeat hands), Photograph (x2 mult for first face card scored), boosted all my face cards with packs and Familiar spectral card, scoring 600k in the Big Blind...

I'm still recommending people play Maneater that just came out on Game Pass. It's a B-budgeted game and is wonderful for it. You are a shark and you go around eating and wrecking everything. You pop out of the water and eat tourists on boats. You can waddle on land for a short while and eat more people and other creatures. You get ability upgrades and can change forms. There is even a "story" line about you getting your revenge on some fisherman.
It's good, dumb, fun.
