By DY_nasty Go To PostI finally got to the 'big' fight of the DLC in Rogue Trader and man this is a proper RPG fuck you boss fight
fucking cinema
Good sleazy Ls and honest checks everywhere. If you e built your party for high burst, that gets tested. If you've built for snowballing, you better be able to last long enough to see it play out.
ugh it's so good
Waiting for that last DLC to come out next month and then I'm going balls-deep in it's Grimdarkussy.
oh shit it's Spring 2025 lol ok. Swear I saw a December date.
I was getting worried with Pentiment at about the 2 hour mark. But it's finally picked up and I'm rolling now. An awful lot of filler nonsense in that breaking in period though.

By Kibner Go To PostThis is legitimately hilarious. OW2 cratered, didn’t it?Blizzard is so out of ideas they're going to release Classic versions of everything lol
Worst part is that the nerds will eat it up.

By C4-621 Go To PostShit like this has a real shot of being destroyed in the new admin. Lina Khan is going to be immediately fired and replaced by someone who's soft on big tech. Tariffs will see game prices raise too. Think 80$-90$ games in the US.

Think 80$-90$ games in the US.So are MS and Sony going to take opportunity to keep digital the same price if tariffs cause increasing prices in a way to push more consumers to digital and their subscription services or will they be dumb and raise the digital prices to match? At this point there is really no point to try and keep retailers happy since they have very little shelf space anymore.
Consoles, controllers ... every aspect of gaming going to go up in price. Forcing digital sales for games by only lifting physical imported copies would be a smart move but we shall see how greedy they are

By Laboured Go To PostStellar Blade on PC in 2025.Which will be first, m8? Tifa or Bayonetta mod??
By Laboured Go To PostUnsurprisingly a beefy boi. The real question will be how bad is the stutter. They'll have to invent a new mode for the Series S called stutter mode.
By Laboured Go To PostThink it runs at 60fps on XSS.At 438p.
By C4-621 Go To PostSell me on Stalker 2 guys what's so good about the seriesi cannot in good faith
By C4-621 Go To PostSell me on Stalker 2 guys what's so good about the seriesStalker 1 was old school, open world euro-jank with survival game elements (just no food/drink meters to always have to balance). Far Cry but done by the people who made Rust.
By C4-621 Go To PostSell me on Stalker 2 guys what's so good about the seriesI can’t sell you on 2, but the original Shadow Over Chernobyl was special. Once you got past the jank anyway.

i honestly don't know why MS wants to bother with a handheld. if it runs windows it will be one of many in a very niche market and if it's an xbox handheld then lol, lmao. DoA. and devs would kill them for introducing a third sku.
By WoodenLung Go To PostYeah but… They could make a lightweight windows. That could be very pog.I don’t think current MS can do that because it would require them to stop trying to upsell their Windows customers on services they don’t need.
By Lupercal Go To PostPhil looking rough out there
shit, you're right.
seems to have lost a bit of weight as well.
poor guy had to work for the first time in years when the money guys at MS demanded to finally see a ROI.
1 week after trump phil already out here trying to buy more stuff. lol

DoA. and devs would kill them for introducing a third sku.I think there is definately a niche market for it but it seems like the smarter route would be to make a useable windows UI for all these devices that are on the market that streamlines gamepass
By C4-621 Go To PostI prayed for this
@DY_nasty @HottestGrapes
And yeah that's Concord too 😭
I'm also against ever seeing the pilots in AC but a W is a W
Apple Arcade is getting a dose of Final Fantasy. Apple just announced the next batch of games coming to its subscription service, and Square Enix’s long-running RPG series is the highlight. First up is the 3D remake of Final Fantasy IV, which will be launching on December 9th, alongside its direct sequel The After Years. Then, the original Final Fantasy and Trials of Mana (another Square Enix RPG) will hit the service on January 9th.Finally Square releases a good FF again
Finished my first run through of Hollowbody. Cool game. Gonna beat the hardest difficulty at some point in the future.
Kind of wish the camera was different (it's annoying af in a lot of spots). It does the thing that SH1 did, with the first person bonus option (it was janky as hell in SH), but I think it adds to it here. The church was probably one of the few areas that felt like it wasn't overhead, because fans of the genre demand it so: it elevated the atmosphere. As for everywhere else, I don't think it was the determining factor for why it felt "oppressive."
Got the Riven ending.

If it runs an Xbox OS, I dunno. Could be good/fill a niche. Depends how they flip it.
If it can only play Xbox One games and BC games from the 360/OG, then it’ll be cool but a tiny niche product.
If it can play Series S/X games, it could be a success but I imagine it would be very expensive and quite power hungry. Series S performance is achievable in a handheld devices. The ROG Ally is in the same ballpark of GPU performance (4TF) but only when plugged in.
Tl;dr: Theoretically they could put something out currently that‘ll basically be a handheld Series S playing Series S variants of games. However it would need a big battery (50Whr minimum) and probably cost £600.
