cant believe these fucking cunts made the roads wet on s-10
By Batong Go To PostMight as well replay the GameCube version with texture pack then. 2004, damn, how has it been 20 years already 😲.Speaking of 20 years ago, today is 20th anniversary of the release of GTA San Andreas.
Still got this track ingrained into my brain
Ridiculous to think we only had 2 new GTA mainline games since then.
By HottestGrapes Go To PostI have become a victim of my own hubris. Kos absolutely fucks and he’s fucking me.lmao, struggled with him big time even with Patriotism and Yurt helping out
finally got him but it was extremely tough
I’m diving back in the chalice dungeons and gaining some more levels first before going again. He’ll get rolled next time.
By Zabojnik Go To PostSH2's map has got to be one of the best non-interactable maps ever. It's perfect.Yup. More games should copy it

The way it stains up explored sections in the alternate hospital was pretty cool

They were doing it from the first silent hill game bruv
*looks up silent hill 1 map for sy*
Back to the original point, it's a cool map design and more games should try adopting it.

Abhorrent Beast in the chalice dungeon had me fucked up. Had me digging deep into my inventory for shit to use against him.
Nailed it though. Bone marrow ash to buff my pistol shots to swap aggro between me and the summon, poison knives to keep the damage stacking. Hit and run swipes at every opening.
Whew
It was genuinely pretty tough. Hard hitter and really aggressive boss AI. Good fight.

Lets go Vapes! There were some cool bosses hidden deep into the chalices
For Kos (or some say Kosm), I like parrying him since he's too aggressive lol.
@Baten Kaitos
It's 50% off. This better be good because I feel nothing looking at Dragon Age unfortunately 😞

By Dazenheimer Go To Poststop stalling and get back to the Orphan of Kos.
I’m not walking back into that god forsaken fishing village until I’m fully levelled up to the Yharnam equivalent of bipedal tank capable of launching nuclear warheads.
Edit: @Yurt the chalices are great for me. The early Pthumeru dungeons are so-so, but depth 3/4 dungeons have been fun.
Some cool bosses and interesting level design. Ganks, traps, more challenging enemies. There’s a lot of good stuff in them in my opinion.
I bought Balatro on my phone a few days ago. It's a good game, but unless there's some dramatic change still to be unlocked I'm not really sure what makes it 10/10 goty of the year. If I didn't have it on my phone I doubt I'd play much more. What made it so beloved?

No, legitimately it picks up as you unlock more jokers, learn patterns and synergies

By Perfect Blue Go To PostWhat’s good with Fallout 3/NV/4?All of them. 3’s the weakest but still has its own charm. New Vegas is a truly great RPG.
Can't ever go wrong with New Vegas, one of the best RPGs of all time. Bit rough these days without mods, but you'll get over it after a couple hours.
F3 and F4 are more of an acquired taste, depending on what one is looking for.

I rate 3 just a hair below NV
By blackace Go To Post4 would be the weakest in my opinion.Have you played 3 and 4 recently? The key to enjoying 4 is having enough emotional distance from the initial release.

By Lego Go To Post4 was my first Fallout and I absolutely despised it. Never tried the others.that's a shame
It was a long time ago but I just remember missing almost every shot I took, and subsequently running out of bullets and being unable to find any without getting attacked again.

Did you try using VATS?
I think so, that's the thing where you can target specific parts of the body and it gives you a percentage on how likely you are to hit, right? Maybe I was incredibly unlucky.

Boy howdy.
Skill issue. F4 shooting is perfectly acceptable. It doesn't suffer from RPG-shooting like F3 or ME 1 where you have to raise accuracy or stability stats. You literally can just point and shoot. (Never played it on console tho).
Playing Baten Kaitos. Unique and weird so far

Guess i'm buying Dragon Age day one!
Why Dragon Ball and Sonic though?
worst shit about GT7 is its online requirement for SINGLE PLAYER.

SH2R done. Still a great game, quality remake.
Prison and Labyrinth were my least favourite sections. Combat felt pretty damn good compared to what I vaguely remember of the original's, which is to be expected given the facelift to controls and camera. Played great with mouse & keeb. Boss fights were alright-ish, not a big focus anyway.
One thing that started to feel really anachronistic about halfway through is the way ammo is magically disseminated *everywhere* throughout the environments. It's a staple of the genre, I know, but at least in RE you (also) get it off enemies, so it feels somewhat more organic.
At least on the standard difficulty, there's just way, way, way too many ammo boxes lying around. The amount of bullets I got was fine, if a bit too generous, but give me 2 boxes with 15 bullets each, not the other way around. Anyway, minor gripe.
