Saw this from the an ex-anim dev from Ubisoft and Naughty Dog re the whole POP studio closure.

Interesting that this is newsworthy. Ubisoft would regularly disband even successful teams when I was there, ostensibly to spread the knowledge and experience through the studio but more likely to prevent any one team leveraging their success for promotions etc. Clearly it's not a winning strategy.
