Tekken 8 online match making is broken. Game crashes during match making. That's probably a good sign for me to avoid online even once for a long while.
Had one of the strangest glitches I've ever seen on PoP, going back to the starting areas triggered the cutscenes that played at the beginning of the game. At first I thought it was intentional with the time-bending nature of the game, until enemies started showing up in the cutscenes and walking around on their patrols through the characters.

Yeah I'd read a few people that had that. New patch went up yesterday which fixed some side quests.
One of my sidequests is bugged and I only just realised, thankfully I have a save that's not too long befoe it. Won't be playing it again until Tuesday, hopefully it's fixed by then and applied to my current progress.

The Steam Deck is £479, Nintendo isn't coming close to that kind of price point and this thing is going to have a bigger screen than that. I just wish there was a choice, but again, from a business perspective...I get it. The hope is that it's just a good LCD.

He went and bought a super expensive fighting stick, despite my warnings to take it slow, play with a joypad first, see if he even likes it, etc.
He asked me to help sell said fighting stick less than a week later, he never touched a fighting game again.
My brother got me a fighting stick for christmas even though I don't really play fighting games. Played a bit of MK11 but the story seems a bit daft and shit. Going to pick up some other fighting games but I can't see myself playing a lot as I usually get bored or find them frustrating.
Any other games worth trying with a stick?

Edit: I thought it was known already switch 2 was gonna be LCD? 8in is pretty good. Hopefully they trash the whole joycon design and rebuilt it to not be shit.
Also can’t wait till it is backwards compatible but only with switch digital games.

I just think if you play your Switch undocked there's a risk of the outside world seeing that you play video games (bad).

By data Go To PostMy Tekken friends - One gets too mad when he loses and the other's been playing so long he could probably do decent at EVOlook for some discord communities to join (reddit, streamers, local scenes), or if you're up for it some online tournaments to join, launch is a fun time because there are a lot more beginner friendly events
if you'd like I can shoot you to an invite to a discord server im in, pretty small and friendly. although it's mostly euros, not sure if t8 netcode is good enough for that
