Web Man 2 was a big disappointment and I still can’t get over Colgate Morales but it was still fun. Overall.

I think I’ve decided to skip this generation of consoles. If my ps4 breaks down, I’ll get a ps5 to replace it but I’m going to focus more on getting a proper gaming pc. Don’t know if it will be pre-built or not, I’ve only built one pc before (around 2008) and that one ended up having more issues than all my other ones combined.

Just a shame it's almost a 100% carbon-copy of the original. They just pumped out a HD collection with MGS3, could have done a bit more than a few QOL changes and better graphics, tbh.

There's a lot more combat than I expected in SH2. And it's not very good at all! Not only is it a bit shit but every enemy ~7 hours in is very samey: shoot leg, hit with pipe to death. Enjoying the rest of it quite a lot but it's got that Bloober/AA lack of polish everywhere. So many notes and things that take a couple of seconds to render at not-240p, culling issues, properly ropey performance across the board on PS5...

My food prices have tripled in the last 5 years.
As for games being on PS4 or PC, I don't see how that negates them being good or worth playing.
It's great to have fast-loading, quiet and somewhat powerful systems that run awesome games at 60fps at an affordable price.

For some sick reason I put off starting Pentiment and installed Manhunt on my PS5 last week. I've been knocking out a mission here and there the last few nights. Even for a 20 year old PS2 game these controls are so unbelievably shit. I played and finished this when it released (still have the PS2 case on my shelf), but I can't remember it being this bad.
Rockstar shipped this post GTA 3, Vice City and Max Payne too. Those games each had different developers, and their own questionable controls, but as a publisher, they had enough oversight to do something about helping this game be a bit better than quicksand Syphon Filter. It's just brutal.
