By DY_nasty Go To PostIts hard to go from a real action game to GoWThe trick is to not see it as an action game as such. It’s more Uncharted with an axe.
still wakes the deep is way better than i expected. nice to see such a unique setting for a horror game, and not just the old same scenarios over and over.

So Ryujinx just folded.

How worthwhile are the chalice dudgeons in Bloodborne anyway? Just finished the first one (all three levels) after beating Blood Starved Beast.
The souls don’t seem that worthwhile for it, but I enjoyed the fire dog boss at the end.

Honestly, I’m convinced they used proc gen to create a lot of Elden Ring’s catacombs and smaller dudgeons, then fixed them up a little afterwards.
Djura is dead dead.
Cleared Yarhagul part 1, Paarl down. I gave up on that fight last time I played it because I was weak back then. Unsurprisingly the game is much easier when you just dump levels into health instead of stamina.
Also picked up the Kirkhammer and upgraded it to +4 to go along with my +4 saw cleaver.
Edit: Latest bargain, £32.50 for FF7 Rebirth. I keep winning. How can one man win this much?

By Hitch Go To PostTechnically a bargain I guessAnything under Sony’s pricing is a win for me.
Gonna start Pentiment tonight

I bought fifa 25 on the Xbox and ps5, about to get it for PC but is there a cheaper store or does i have to get it through epic games/steam?
By Hitch Go To PostTechnically a bargain I guessMe too. Haven't played anything in a month.

I'll rarely use it on PC and laptop but on the rare occasion it would be nice, hence why I was wondering if there's a cheaper alternative but it sounds like not (other than g2a which apparently is a scam site) so i'll just get the standard version from epic games
By Xpike Go To Postliterally completed the entire game + dlc without ever stepping foot on themI’m planning to do the entire game, including Chalices and the DLC :3
By data Go To PostBeginning to think this game exists to make people forgive Arkham Knight and AvengersWhat is there to forgive with Arkham Knight, it's a great game.
the dogshit bat tank that took up half the campaign
also speaking of suicide squads new character, her traversal works just like Gravity Rush so that is neat. Traversal was the one thing rocksteady managed to nail

City was always the worst one tho
Loving Pentiment
Struggling a bit with the character names, but they're all so expressive and the setting is great. Funnier than I thought it'd be too.
Would be nice if you could make some family trees and categories in the game, especially if the characters' relationships to eachother become important later on.
Normally I get bad fomo when I can't exhaust every dialogue option and face the prospect of failing an objective, but I'm enjoying it here.
Small thing, but I'm really glad that the dialogue reveals itself at roughly the same speed I read it. When it's all there at once I always end up skim-reading and then losing interest as I'm not fully paying attention.
Strangely find it a bit incongruous when Americanisms slip into it like asshole and color, even though they obviously wouldn't have been speaking English at all.
Slagged off Cornwall tho, 0/10.

Don't worry about missing stuff, it's designed that way.
And don't you dare change the font! It adds soooo much to the characters and their backgrounds

Illuminata, Zdena, Piero and Margarete 🐐
Wanted to throw Lenhardt from his stupid mill
edit: just picked up Illuminata's book, woke bullshit, uninstalled.
I hope there are more bits like that
edit 2: shit, I can only ask one question about this rich cunt. I want to know everything 😔
Good that they largely took the option to save-scum out of the equation. Will just have to trust that everything (or enough) will be revealed eventually.

Enjoy it without Hitching the fun out of it for yourself
Guy just threw Piero under the bus to impress the Prior
I'm going to kill him.
How the fuck does a game that looks like this genuinely have my heart pounding because someone is about to look at the state of a book they've had commissioned 😂

I just want the old lads to be happy, and I wanted to eat with the simple folk 😞
Is there any reason to check back in on locations I've been to already? Don't want to fuck the pacing up by wasting a load of time looking for non-existent events.
edit: oh god he's bought up Martin Luther at dinner

FF XI is the only old mmo i can enjoy playing right now. although i am also working on setting up a private server for Asheron's Call, so i might add that to the list. shame there is no retail server for it right now.

If I was ranking them I'd go Asylum>Knight>Origins>City.
